Baldur’s Gate 3 enemies truly come in all shapes and sizes, including goblins, bugbears, monstrosities, and many more. Among these are Gremishkas, tiny monstrosities that look like small cats and have the skin of a rodent along with bat ears. They also have very sharp teeth.

Gremishkas in BG3 and ways to deal with them
Gremishkas are the result of unstable magic used by spellcasters. When novice spellcasters tried to create life with magic, it resulted in creating these vicious creatures. As Gremishkas have an unstable connection with magic, using spells near them triggers their “Magic Allergy” condition and allows them to have a random magical effect, like blowing up in your face.
Although Gremishkas have a small feral appearance, they are very slick in nature. They mimic the sounds of small children or wounded animals to lure adventurers toward them.
As they tend to attack spellcasters, using physical attack against them would be your best bet (with the likes of Lae’zel and Karlach). But if you don’t have a Strength class character, you can also use ranged attacks like “Magic Missile” and “Grease” against them.
While BG3 Gremishkas already have abilities like lurking and exploding into a swarm, they also have the ability to turn invisible, making them extremely difficult to fight. If they turn invisible, use Volo Ersatz Eye or See Invisibility to reveal them.
If you can successfully kill the Gremishkas using any of the ways above, looting their body will provide you with a Gremishka Tail. This item can be used to make Wizardsbane Oil, giving a target Concentration Disadvantage and a penalty for Spell-based Attack Rolls for two turns.
