The payment to Big Toni occurs automatically every single day until the debt is fully paid. After you ask Big Toni for money, he will hand you the money but with 10% interest. Now, after every day, on the summary screen, where you look at the total amount of money you made per day, you will find another option, “Toni’s Cut (5 to 10%).”
Note: Once the bill is paid, you will need to make enough money to pay Big Toni and your bill for the next week. You have to perform at your best to make enough money to satisfy both sides.
Big Toni will take 5 to 10% of your regular earnings every day until the loan amount is cleared. Once you pay back the full amount, Toni will start lending money again, but with a gap of 5 days. The rent money will show up at the top-right section of the screen, in red color; the amount shown in white color indicates the money you have in your possession.
How Toni’s Interest Works
For example, the bill for the due date sits at $200, and you have only $100; here you can call up Toni to ask for a loan. He will pay you $100 but add 10% interest on the money. Which means you now owe Toni $110 ($100 + 10% Interest). Now Toni will take a 5% to 10% cut on your daily earnings. If you made 30$ a day, then Toni will take 5 to 10% Interest charge on that amount. This Interest cut will carry on until the whole amount ($110) is fully paid.
How to Unlock Big Toni in Bills Must Be Paid
When you are starting out in Bills Must Be Paid, you will not have Big Toni on your call. You must get a cellphone to get Big Toni to back you up. You will unlock him by finding a flip phone randomly by smashing the pigs on the table. You will eventually get it on the second run, once you are making too much cash per day. You will not have any sort of direct access to the phone; you can only use it at the end of each working day.
You will get the Call Toni option on the summary page of every round; the option is there for your take it, but be aware of the risk that comes with this option. You will have to work even harder to pay money for your expenses and loan.
