Clair Obscur has several collectibles that you should not miss out on when exploring each of the missions and chapters in the game. If you are looking to get hold of all that the game has to offer in Gestral Village, we have put up this guide for you listing all 18 collectibles in Gestral Village.
#1 Pictos – Critical Moment

Go to the vendor located on the left side of the Gestral Bazaar, and purchase the Critical Moment Pictos for 5520 Chromas from him to get your first collectible in the area. Critical Moment is a strong Pictos for your arsenal. It has a 50% increased Critical Chance if health is below 30%, which can help you get some clutch wins!
#2 Demonam – Weapon

Unfortunately, for our 2nd collectible, we will have to fight and defeat the vendor that just sold us our first collectible. After defeating him, you can buy the Demonam weapon from him for 4002 Chromas. This weapon has a power of 167 and is an Agility/Defense based Light element weapon.
#3 Pictos – Healing Mark

The 3rd collectible is located inside the house in the bazaar. However, once you enter the house, you will get ambushed by a Shady Gestral. Defeat him, and you can buy the Healing Mark Pictos from him. This one grants 25% Health Recovery on hitting a marked enemy (once per turn). There are no consequences for defeating this Gestral as he’ll just go back to being a merchant.
#4 Colour of Lumina

Interact with this Blue and White NPC named Berrami to trade Journals for the Colour of Lumina. This NPC is located in the bazaar at the entrance of the village. Keep in mind, you can only get 3x Colour of Lumina from each vendor. You will have to give him more and more journals as you keep visiting him. (eg. 4 pages the first time, 6 pages the second time and so on)
#5 Wooden Stick

This is a quest item you collect by interacting with this Gestral NPC located in the bazaar, towards the right side of Berrami.
#6 Sakapatate Outfit (Gustave/Verso) & Gestral Hair (Gustave)

Go towards the First “Arena” sign, and then you will find another Arena sign pointing to the right side. Go opposite of that towards the open area and interact with this NPC, called Delsitra. The 1st outfit will be available only if you have Verso in your party. The 2nd and 3rd outfits are available when you have Gustave.
#7 Pure Outfit (Gustave)

Go towards the left of the NPC you interacted with for the 6th collectible and you will find this NPC, Karatom. For this collectible, you will first need to get to Esquie’s Nest. From the Entrance, once you get to the bridge, drop off towards the right into the pond where you’ll see a Mime. Bring the mushroom back to Karatom and win the fight for your Pure Outfit for Gustave.
#8 Colour of Lumina

This is located behind the Jousting area. You’ll have to get through the crowd from the rightmost end of the arena, behind where a practice spar is happening.
#9 Sakapatate Outfit (Lune)

This outfit is achieved once you talk to the small NPC on top of the tower, called Purumi. To get to this tower, follow the “Arena” signs, and after the second sign, there is a small pathway towards the right that will enable you to grapple up. Then, after some climbing, you will be able to reach the top of the tower.
#10 Expedition 52 Journal

Follow the signs that say “Arena”. One of the signs will be on this tower. The journal of Expedition 52 can be found behind this tower in the Arena.
#11 Sakapatate Outfit ( Maelle )

Deal 9999 Damage to Ono Puncho in one hit to gain this outfit. This can be done by equipping Fortune’s Fury Skill for Sciel, and for Maelle equipping Marking shots, Roulette and Augmented Attack. As for Maelle’s Skill, make sure she has Last Chance and Percee.
- Have Maelle use Last Chance to go into the Virtuose Stance
- Have Sciel use Fortune’s Fury on Maelle so her next chance is Double Damage.
- Shoot a Free-aim shot with Maelle to mark the enemy, then use her Percee skill. There is a 50% chance Roulette won’t activate. If it doesn’t, restart the fight and do the same steps again.
- Upon defeat, he will hand you the Sakapatate Outfit for Maelle.

#13 Roulette Pictos

To get the Roulette Pictos, you have to interact with the casino doors. Choose “Yes” as your first option and then choose “I don’t care” as your second option. This is very powerful as it will help in your fight against Ono Puncho where you will have to deal 9999 Damage for getting a special outfit!
#14 Colour of Lumina

Move towards the right side from the entrance and you will find the Colour of Lumina hidden behind the barrels, around the red flowers.
#15 Sakapatate Outfit (Sciel)

This NPC, called Alexcyclo can be found as you move towards the right side of the entrance. Although, this outfit is only available after Sciel joins your team.
#16 Shape of Energy & Rebellious Hair (Maelle)

These collectibles are found after entering the Manor, and interacting with 3 hidden switches will open the trapdoor. These switches are:
- the statue near the entrance,
- the 2nd hanging frying pan, and
- the candles on the table.
Once you enter the hidden room, you will find Shape of Energy hiding behind the boxes beside the stairs. There will be boxes/barrels facing the stairs, break these boxes and you’ll see a hidden entrance to a room for your second collectible, which is a hairstyle.
#17 Powerful shots Pictos

The pictos is behind these Paint Spikes, as you go to the right side of the door that says “Arena”. To get to the Arena, follow the signs from the Entrance of the village. However, the ability to break spikes will only be attained after finding 4 or more of the Lost Gestrals.
#18 Betelim – Weapon

These spikes are located as you move to the left side of the arena door. Just like the previous collectible, the ability to break these spikes is obtained later after finding 4 or more of the Lost Gestrals.
