The second weekend of the COD MW4 beta is in full swing, with everyone having the opportunity to experience Infinity Ward’s latest entry into the first-person shooter franchise. Weekend two has introduced a wealth of changes based on player feedback, alongside even more multiplayer maps and game modes to try. In addition to multiplayer, players can also drop into the Zodiac Resurgence map for Warzone. To experience all the newness, you only have a short period of time. With that said, here’s how long the COD MW4 beta is on for and when it will end.
When Does the COD MW4 Beta End?

The COD MW4 beta comes to an end on Tuesday, September 1st at 10 AM PT / 1PM ET. In total, you have four days to load into the Open Beta before the servers are switched off for good. Depending on where you’re located, the table below offers a closer look at the end times:
| Region | COD MW4 Beta End Time |
|---|---|
| Chicago (United States) | 12 PM CT |
| New York (United States) | 1 PM ET |
| Los Angeles (United States) | 10 AM PT |
| London (UK) | 6 PM BST |
| Paris (France) | 7 PM CEST |
| Brasilia (Brazil) | 2 PM BRT |
| Dubai (UAE) | 9 PM GST |

Is There Another COD MW4 Beta?
No, the COD MW4 Open Beta is the second and final beta before MW4’s full release on October 23rd. While you won’t be able to drop into multiplayer matches until then, the single-player campaign has an early access period beginning on October 16th if you’ve pre-ordered.
While a third beta would be convenient if you’ve not had a chance to play during weekend two, there’s still a whole season of COD Black Ops 7 to enjoy before the focus fully switches to the launch of MW4 and the next chapter of Warzone.
Will COD MW4 Beta Progression Carry Forward?
If you’ve reached Level 30 and unlocked all kinds of Apex Attachments for your favourite weapons, you may think that all your hard-earned progression will carry forward to the full game. Unfortunately, your level will be reset to one before the COD MW4 servers are switched on in October.
The level reset follows the formula of previous Call of Duty games, where everyone starts from Level 1 to establish a level playing field as the race to Prestige begins once again.
That’s all the intel on when the Modern Warfare 4 beta is coming to an end. For more, stay tuned to GamesHorzion for even more handy guides covering the world of Call of Duty.
