Where Is The Tree Planting Festival Located In Coral Island?
The Coral Island Tree Planting Festival takes place in the forest right behind your farm, near the Ranch. The actual location of the festival is the Purwo Woods, a barren piece of land savaged by illegal tree cutters. To counter the negative effects of illegal logging, the Mayor has decided to restore the area back to its original tree-filled lushness.
The Tree Planting Festival takes place for four in-game years, and you can visit the Purwo Woods and observe the growth of planted plants anytime after the festival. Each year, the number of trees will grow along with the sizes and heights of previously planted trees. After four years, this once barren and dusty patch of land will be filled with majestic and tall trees.
How To Start The Tree Planting Festival in Coral Island
In order to begin your participation in the Tree Planting Festival in Coral Island, you will have to start traveling northwards from your farm at 8AM on the 21st day of Spring. Once you begin walking towards the Ranch, you will stumble upon a festival balloon.

How To Complete The Tree Planting Festival In Coral Island?
The main activity of the festival, as the name suggests, is the tree planting. This activity can be completed in three major steps:
Stage One
In stage one, you will be tasked with clearing the debris. The Purwo Woods is filled with various things, including rotting logs, half-alive grass, and tree stumps left there by illegal loggers. In order to start planting the trees, you will first have to clean the entire area.
You will be needed to use your Axe and Scythe to help other townsfolk in removing, collecting, and disposing all of the 122 pieces of debris in Purwo Woods. The second stage of the festival will only begin after you and the townies have cleared each and every piece of debris.
Stage Two
After you have cleared the land, now it’s time to prepare the soil. As the result of mass tree cutting, the soil in the area will have become dry and arid. In order for the new tree saplings to be able to survive on this land, you will have to till the soil. To undertake this task, you will be needing your Hoe.
The Mayor will have arranged several 2×2 spots across the festival site to be tilled. You, along with other townsfolk will have to till all 44 spots in order to move on to the next stage. This stage doesn’t take too much of your stamina, so try and till as many 2×2 spots out of 44 to get to the next stage quicker.
Stage Three
After clearing the land and preparing the soil, the final stage of the Tree Planting Festival is the actual planting of trees. You will be provided ten saplings that you have to plant in the 2×2 spots tilled during the previous stage. You will be instructed where to plant these saplings, and an animation will be played once you have planted your share of the trees.
Once you have completed this Spring festival, you will eventually stumble upon the Harvest Festival in the fall that features more activities and room for more interactions with in-game characters.
