Amongst all the choice-based missions you’ll find in Dying Light 2, the one involving Aitor can either save his life or let him perish in the game. After finding Aitor on his deathbed and discovering the Recluse Petals from Margaret the Healer, you can decide which herbs to administer to save his life.

All Aitor Herbs Choices In Dying Light 2
To save Aitor in Dying Light 2, you need to find and give recluse petals to the doctors. However, after collecting the petals and returning to Aitor, you are given a total of four choices. The choices are:
- “I give Aitor the small petals.”
- “I give Aitor the big petals.”
- “Radio Lawan for Advice.”
- “I refuse to give Aitor the herbs.”
Although you can select any of the choices above, be warned that each of these choices has its own consequences. You need to select the correct one that would benefit you in Dying Light 2.
Note: Be careful of the Howlers lurking near the recluse flower at night. You need to take them out before they alert other zombies in the area.

Small Petals Choice
Considered to be the best choice in the selection, if you choose to administer the small petals to Aitor, he survives and is cured of his ailment. Also, no harm is done to Margaret who was consulted to find a cure.
Margaret the Healer had informed you previously that you need to give Aitor small petals of the flower while searching for them at night. You need to utilize this information when presented with all the choices and choose to save both Aitor and Margaret.
Big Petals Choice
If you choose this option, Aitor dies leaving behind a very enraged wife who goes after Margaret. Margaret loses her life, and you also don’t get to utilize her healing skills at a later point in Dying Light 2.
So, since Margaret is an important asset in the game, you should avoid this big petals choice to keep both Aitor and her alive.

Radio Lawan Choice
If you radio Lawan for advice, it only gives you more time to decide between all the other options on the list. Regardless of whether you need more time to think about the choices, you should definitely pick the small petals option to save time and some lives in the game.
Refuse Aitor Herbs Choice
If you refuse to give Aitor the herbs, his condition worsens and he is injected with stabilizers to prevent further damage. However, he does slip into a coma and stays that way for the rest of the game.
So, all in all, the small petals option is the best choice in the Dying Light 2 Aitor side quest.
