Once built for the MotoGP, the Lusail International Circuit (Losail) is now on the F1 calendar. It is a medium-difficulty track that needs a suitable setup to be efficient on it. Despite being a newer track, it’s already been tested multiple times for the best settings.
In this guide, we will show you all the settings like aerodynamics, suspension, brakes, tyres, etc. to create the best possible F1 23 Qatar setup. This will also include settings for wet conditions.
Best F1 23 Qatar setup: Settings for dry and wet conditions
Qatar is a fast and flowing track which is dominated by medium to high-speed corners. Leading to them are long straights which can result in overturns. It has minimal sharp corners, but the turns are twisty and long which still requires high downforce. So, we will be building a setup that tackles all these problems by focusing on high downforce as well as stiffer front suspensions and anti-roll bars.
Here is the guide for the best F1 23 Qatar setup along with wet condition adjustments wherever required:
Aerodynamics
Low downforce on aerodynamics will give you more speed while high values will give you more grip through turns. High downforce is the way to go for Qatar, despite the long straights, the majority of the turns are high-speed turns, where you will require high downforce aerodynamics settings.
Dry:
- Front Wing Aero: 41
- Rear Wing Aero: 37
For wet conditions, it is recommended you increase these values to give you more grip around the speedy corners on the wet surface.
Wet:
- Front Wing Aero: 48
- Rear Wing Aero: 44
Transmission
A more open differential is proven to be better in this game, and it works for the F1 23 Qatar setup as well. These settings have been shown to give enough power to your back wheels to get through those corners at top speeds.
- Differential Adjustment on-throttle: 55
- Differential Adjustment off-throttle: 52

Suspension Geometry
Suspension geometry settings decide how your tyres are angled. This can affect the overall stability and rotation of your Formula 1 car. While these settings don’t change around too much, it goes a long way when you tweak it to the track’s demand. These settings have been shown to give good stability and performance. You can adjust these around based on your style.
- Front Camber: -2.50˚
- Rear Camber: -1.00˚
- Front Toe: 0.00˚
- Rear Toe: 0.10˚
Suspension
The suspension settings are a make or break for the F1 23 Qatar setup. The settings have been set to work well with the high downforce settings from earlier in this build. Stiff front suspension and front anti-roll bar will make turning smoother while keeping stability.
Also, a decent ride height will ensure you avoid bottoming out. These settings will work for wet as well but you can change these around slightly based on your preferences.
- Front Suspension: 41
- Rear Suspension: 14
- Front Anti-Roll Bar: 12
- Rear Anti-Roll Bar: 4
- Front Ride Height: 34
- Rear Ride Height: 38
Brakes
For this F1 23 Qatar setup, we will be going for a brake setting that works the best in most cases. When experimenting with this, make sure you keep brake pressure to 100% unless you are not using ABS or if you really aren’t used to it.
Dry:
- Brake Pressure: 100%
- Front Brake Bias: 54%
For wet conditions, you can consider decreasing the front brake bias to bring some stability while braking. However, this is more dependent on your preference.
Wet:
- Brake Pressure: 100%
- Front Brake Bias: 50%
Tyres
Tyre pressure will determine your tyre wear and performance in the long run. These settings have been shown to perform well and efficiently for racing multiple laps on the Qatar track. Tweak with these settings only if you know its long-term result throughout the race as it could increase tyre wear.
Dry:
- Front Right Tyre Pressure: 22.9
- Front Left Tyre Pressure: 22.9
- Rear Right Tyre Pressure: 20.4
- Rear Left Tyre Pressure: 20.4
The settings have been further tweaked for wet conditions to get the same amount of efficiency from the tyres.
Wet:
- Front Right Tyre Pressure: 22.2
- Front Left Tyre Pressure: 22.2
- Rear Right Tyre Pressure: 20.0
- Rear Left Tyre Pressure: 20.0
Qatar is a fairly easy track to master but still requires decent skill. It can be a fun track to learn high-speed turns and with this F1 23 Qatar setup build, those high-speed turns are going to be a breeze all the way to the finish line.
