Fediel is the newest character introduced in the Endless Ragnarok expansion for Granblue Fantasy Relink, and mastering it will require some time. She has a plethora of new attacks and combinations that can be overwhelming, and there are a variety of ways to boost her skill to go beyond the default damage.
Having experimented with a lot of different setups, I am going to put up here my best Fediel build, and cover all of Fediel’s combos, Sigils, Masteries, and more, that can take on whatever the DLC has to throw your way.
Granblue Fantasy Relink Fediel Build Guide
Since there are so many layers to the build, here is a brief overlook at the topics covered for the Fediel build in Granblue Fantasy Relink:
- Fediel Combo Patterns
- Skill Selection for Fediel
- Sigil Recommendation for Fediel
- Over Mastery for Fediel
- Weapon Selection for Fediel
- Master Trait for Fediel
- Summons Selection for Fediel
Fediel Combos Patterns

We are going to rely on Fediel’s claw attacks to deliver the most damage to enemies. The attack begins by pressing the Blackflash attack button (Triangle) after performing a 4-common-attack combo.
- Voidskip: A single tap will result in Fediel disappearing into the purple clouds on the ground for a few seconds and popping back into the game. Nothing fancy, but if you hold the Voidskip button, you will get to teleport to your targeted location marked as a purple circle on the ground. After teleporting, Fediel will execute a claw swipe attack. The last part is important: if you hold the Voidskip button, you will not only teleport but also deal a claw attack against enemies.
Now it’s time to find a shortcut to the claw attack after performing the basic attacks. The goal is to get to the claw attack quickly, since holding the Voidskip button leaves you vulnerable. We need to add the claw attack in the middle of a running combo, so that everything flows smoothly without any interruption, and something we can repeat every time.
- Basic Attack: Here, Fediel will launch four purple projectiles, ending the attack combo with a stomp at the end. After Fediel performs the stomp, you can spam the attack button to make her perform the stomp attack endlessly. The best thing about the attack is that it’s a ranged attack; even if you are stomping far away from the enemy, the damage will always connect.
- Blackflash Attack: When you do perform a stomp attack, it will leave a mark on the enemy (Repeated stomps are not necessary; a single stomp attack will leave a mark on the enemy). Here, if you press the Blackflash (Voidskip) button, Fediel will get teleported immediately to the enemy’s location and perform a claw swipe attack, creating a combo chain. Now all you have to do is keep pressing the attack button to perform more claw swipes.
- You will also notice that, after performing a stomp, the name for the Voidskip button will change to Blackflash. The Blackflash attack is the bread-and-butter move for Fediel. After performing the claw attacks, you can press the Combo Finisher key to launch a purple energy ball from mid-air, a perfect way to end the combo.
Note: You can cancel the basic attack by dodging in the middle. If you do execute a dodge in the middle of the basic attack, Fediel will directly perform the stomp without firing additional projectiles.
Perform the common attacks by pressing the attack button, then once Fediel performs a stomp animation, you can hit the Blackflash attack, or it’s previously called Voidskip, to deal the claw attack damage, then ending it all with Combo Finisher. The key factor to remember here is that once you perform the stomp, you can immediately perform the Blackflash, and that leads to the claw attack.
Skills Selection for Fediel

We will look at other skills that provide an even better shortcut to the claw attack or stomp without the basic attack combo quickly. In short, Stomp> Claw> Purple Energy ball or Combo Finisher.
The Black’s Blessing: The team gets a 15% Attack and 20% Defence bonus. This skill also provides a shortcut to the Blackflash attack. After you perform this skill, you can immediately follow with the stomp by pressing the attack button; then you can perform the Blackflash attack to perform the claw swipe attack.
If you use The Black’s Blessing with the claw swipe attack, you will skip the projectile common attack combo, which will reduce some damage; on the other hand, you and your team will gain a 15% Attack bonus and 20% Defence bonus.
Sphere of Reversal: Basically a charged Combo Finisher attack that deals the highest amount of Fediel skill damage. When you perform this skill, Fediel will go up into the air, create a purple energy ball, and release it on the enemy. The only downside of this skill is the charge time.
Tip: There are ways to cut down the charge timer; one of the ways is to perform Sphere of Reversal after performing the stomp from the basic move. So, Basic Attacks > Stomp > Sphere of Reversal. Or you can also perform Sphere of Reversal after performing the Blackflash or Claw attack. The damage of Sphere of Reversal doesn’t change if you take a shortcut to perform it.
Miasmic Abyss: Fediel will cast a purple circle around the enemy that deals damage over time. After casting it, you can follow with claw attacks. The damage over time attack is great, but if the enemy moves from the circle, they will miss out on the effect.
Sign of Calamity: Here, Fediel will travel to the enemy spot in the form of a purple projectile. It’s quick, and it has a small cooldown. And yes, you can perform the claw attacks after using this skill. Sign of Calamity can create a good combo chain; the best thing about this skill is its cooldown, which goes down pretty fast.
Perform Sign of Calamity > Claw Attack (Blackflash) > Combo Finisher> Basic Attack > Stomp> Claw Attack> Combo Finisher > Sign of Calamity> Repeat.
Sigil Recommendation for Fediel
- The Black’s Warpath – Grants a damage bonus when she lands a Combo Finisher attack following the Miasma Hands.
- The Black’s Awakening +: The Awakening + contains two of her unique sigils: The Black’s Mark and The Black’s Impulse.
- The Black’s Mark: Performing the stomp attack stacks a Defence debuff on the enemy, lowering their defence. The maximum number of stacks that can be added is 3, so a 30% Defence decrease, lasting for 20 seconds. Just perform three stomps back to back to add The Black’s Mark. Don’t worry; the game will show The Black’s Mark on the HUD near the enemy.
Note: Since it only lasts for 20 seconds, you can also refresh The Black’s Mark by stomping it again. To keep the momentum going without any stops. How’s this beneficial? Well, by refreshing the move, The Black’s Mark stays at Level 3 (30% defence decrease) on enemies, instead of starting from scratch.
- The Black’s Impulse: Speeds up Voidskip charge, lessening the charge time by 20%. The other bonus is that when you land a hit with Blackflash, Fediel gains a damage cap of 20% for 20 seconds.
Over Mastery for Fediel

Here is the sequence of bonuses you should prioritize for Fediel’s Over Mastery. Do note that all the Over Mastery bonuses cap at 20%
- #1: Normal Attack Damage Cap Up
- #2: Skill Damage Cap Up
- #3: Skill Power Up
- #4: Skill Healing Cap Up
Fediel’s gameplay is all about combo finishers, mainly involving the normal attacks. So make your first priority the Normal Attack Damage Cap Up. Prioritize the first one, then make your way down to the rest of the bonuses. Get the Normal Attack Damage Cap up to 20%, which is the highest. This will make all of Fediel’s basic attacks hit harder.
Weapon Selection for Fediel

- Hedera – Defender: I recommend the Defender for its skill (Damage Cap Ecru) that allows for an attack increase and damage cap if Fediel has over 45000 HP or more. Having more HP on Fediel will further increase her attack power and damage cap. At Level 15, the attack rate sees a 50% boost, and the damage cap sits at 260%, but requires Fediel to have over 200,000 maximum HP.
Note: You can level up your weapons by heading to the Siero’s Knickknack Shack and heading over to the Awakening/Transcendence option.

I will also recommend grabbing all the upgrades for the weapon, in this case Hedera – Defender, by heading to Main Menu > Masteries > “Collection” tab. All the nodes under Hedera will increase and boost all sorts of stats for the weapon. Basically, damage cap increase,e HP increase, stun points. And more.
Other alternatives include Zagar – Stinger weapon. It has a unique perk (Damage Cap Cobalt) that boosts attack power and damage cap based on the excess critical hits over 100%. At Level 15, the weapon will deal 50% attack power with a 270% damage cap but requires a critical hit rate over 200%.
Master Trait for Fediel

Investing points into Mastery Level will help you access Master Level Bonuses. You want to get to Level 50, where your attack power gets raised to +300/ 600 to HP, and the damage cap gets a 20% boost. On the other hand, you have Style Rank Perks. You are allowed to equip 10 Tier -1 and Tier -2 (Shown as diamonds) Style Rank perks, and 4 Tier-3 Style Rank perks.
Each rank has many traits, but you can’t get all of them; you have to be selectable on the Master Trait for the build. And there is also a limitation of 10 for Tier 1 and Tier 2 perks and only 4 for Tier 3 Style Perks.
You have three distinct Master Styles:
- Crux: Hands of Malice
- Insight: Finishing Touch
- Essence: Corrosive Black
Each Master Style has Style Rank Perks in their Tier 1/2/3. You have to be very selective about the perks found under each tier or Style Rank. The limit is 10 for Tier 1 and Tier 2 perks, and 4 for Tier 3.
Crux: Hands of Malice:
| Style Rank Perk 1 | Style Rank Perk 2 | Style Rank Perk 3 |
| Voidskip -5% Charge time | Miasma Hands gain Drain, but Fediel suffers from Attack -10% decrease. | Crux Rank 2: Skill Damage increase grants an additional skill attack power +% and skill damage cap of + 20% |
| Skill Attack Power+ 10% | Miasma Hands gain up to 10% attack power increase with 30% damage cap. | Crux Rank 3: Landing a charged Blackflash grants Malice Level 3 |
| Damage Cap at +15% | Skill damage cap +35% | |
| Max Hp +15000 | Crux Rank – damage skills gain an additional damage cap of 10% | |
| Critical hit rate +15% | ||
| Sign of Calamity – Cooldown -5% |
So, we filled up 4 Tier 1, 6 Tier 2, and 2 Tier 3 perks. Leaving us with 6 slots for Tier 1, 6 for Tier 2, and 2 for Tier 3.
Insight; Finishing Touch
| Style Rank Perk 1 | Style Rank Perk 2 | Style Rank Perk 3 |
| Miasma Hand Attack 10% increase | Miasma Hands: Damage Cap +25% | Upon emerging from Voidskip, Fediel will damage nemeses she comes in contact with |
| Max HP at +15000 | Insight Rank: Combo Finishers attack +5%/ Combo Finishers damage cap is at +10%. | Insight Rank – Combo Finishers attack power +5% Combo Finisher Damage Cap is at 10% |
| Damage Cap +15% | Damage Cap is at 20% | – |
So, we filled up 3 Tier 1, 3 Tier 2, and 2 Tier 3 perks. Leaving us with 3 slots for Tier 1, 1 for Tier 2, and 1 for Tier 3.
Essence: Corrosive Black
Here are the perks that you should pick under Corrosive Black Essence Master Level.
| Style Rank Perk 1 | Style Rank Perk 2 | Style Rank Perk 3 |
| Skill Cooldown 2% | Attacks: Damage Cap +35% | – |
| Stomp Attack Power 10% | – | – |
| Damage Cap at 15% | – | – |
That’s it, now we have 10 perks on Tier and Tier 2, and 4 on Tier 4. Again, you can swap the perks to others if you want to tweak the numbers.
Summons Selection for Fediel

I recommend Cyaegha 1/ Lurker in the Dark/ Albacore/ and lastly Scarmiglione for the summon setup.
- Scarmiglione – Nimble Defense (Trait) and Normal Attack Damage Cap Up to + 30%.
- Nimble Defense helps you gain extra invincibility after performing a perfect dodge. It also raises your defence and restores a small amount of health only temporarily.
- Lurker in the Dark – Divergence (Trait) and Normal Attack Damage Cap Up to + 50%.
- Divergence restores HP over time and also gives a chance for an instant recovery from a single debuff.
- Albacore – Fast Learner (Trait) and Normal Attack Damage Cap Up to + 30%.
- Fast Learner helps you gain more EXP points for defeating enemies.
- Cyaegha – Concentrated Fire (Trait) and Normal Attack Damage Cap Up to + 15%.
- Concentrated Fire will boost the power of your ranged attacks.
The highlight of the summon is the increased damage we get from the Normal Attacks; counting all of them, we are getting over 100% attack damage boost to the Normal Attacks.
Alternatives:
- Wheel of Fate – a team-based Summon that grants a shield for the entire party.
- Sword Veil Fellowship 1 – Grants supplementary damage to the entire party.
That’s it; it’s all about experimenting to get the most out of Fediel, since there are so many options, you can customize her the way to perfect the gameplay, more to your liking in Granblue Fantasy Relink.
