How To Complete Paranormal Activity In Destiny 2

The Final Shape has finally arrived in Destiny 2, and it comes with a ton of new content like missions, supers, raids, and, of course, new exotic loot. The first few hours of The Final Shape will take you along a quest known as Alone in the Dark, after which you will unlock the ability to complete Paranormal Activities on your map.

These are cube puzzles that involve some exploration to solve, so let’s find out how to do these Paranormal Activity puzzles in Destiny 2: The Final Shape.

How to Solve Paranormal Activity Puzzle in Destiny 2

To complete any Paranormal Activity (Paracausal Geometries) in Destiny 2, here is what you need to do:

1. Find where the current Paranormal Activity is showing on your map
2. When you reach there, find the blue glowing orb of light
3. Commune with the light by interacting with it, this will spawn two cubes; a blue and a red one
4. Find a location and angle where both cubes are visible (It is okay if it’s behind you, as long as it’s not behind a wall)
5. Shoot the blue cube with a gun that deals Light damage
6. Then shoot the red cube with a gun that deals Darkness damage

This puzzle is one of the simpler ones in Destiny 2 as compared to other ones, the real part of the puzzle is actually finding the location of the cubes and finding a place where you can shoot both of them without moving.

Cube Locations for All Paranormal Activities in Destiny 2

Here is how you can find the cubes and shoot them from the same location in each of the five Paranormal Activity locations in Destiny 2.

Paranormal Activity: The Transgression

1. After communing with the light near the staircase, simply drop down below the structure you were standing on
2. Stand under the archway and both cubes will be on either side of it.
3. Shoot one then turn around and shoot the other

Paranormal Activity: The Blooming

1. Climb the ledge right beside the blue orb
2. Take a left towards the path that goes up the hill
3. You will see the blue cube right in front of you
4. Get closer to the blue cube and look down the pathway to find the red cube behind a rock formation
5. You should be able to shoot both from here

Paranormal Activity: The Impasse

1. After interacting with the light, you will see the red cube spawn on your left atop a ledge if you are facing the structure
2. You need to jump to this red cube and jump on top of it
3. From here, you will see a grey statue with a flat top that you can land on, jump on top of this statue
4. If you look at the building across the gap ahead, you will see the blue cube in the distance under a ledge
5. You should be able to shoot both cubes from here atop that grey statue

Paranormal Activity: The Lost City

1. Near the blue orb light, you will see a small building with a statue on top of it, climb onto the roof of this building
2. Now turn around and look over the edge of the main structure, you should see the blue cube above the grassy overgrown ledge
3. Take a look to your right and slightly below it and you will spot the red cube on the cliff wall
4. You will be able to shoot both cubes from here

Paranormal Activity: The Lost City Outskirts

1. From the light, head towards the left until you find a closed iron gate
2. You will be able to see the blue cube from here, back up a bit from here, and climb on the small ledge right opposite the closed gate
3. Look in the direction you came from and you should spot the red cube near a giant tree
4. You can shoot both cubes from this location, you will be able to shoot the blue cube through the closed gate.
