If you are inclined to the secretive Wind Breathing technique in Project Slayers 2, you need to find the right trainer to help you get this skill added to your skill tree. The journey to find the Wind Breathing trainer has you trekking through the treacherous snowy terrains of Iceveil. Even after finding the trainer, you need to complete his questline and also fight him to get the ultimate skill.
In this guide, I have put up a detailed breakdown of where to find the Wind Breathing trainer in Project Slayers 2, complete his questline, and learn what each skill in the Wind Breathing branch does.
How to Find the Wind Breathing Trainer in Project Slayers 2

The Wind Breathing technique unlocks on finding Trainer Saneri in the Iceveil Settlement, completing his quests, and defeating the Wind Trainee. The settlement is located north of the map, and is one of the harder trainers to find, unlike the Thunder Breathing Trainer, the Serpent Breathing Trainer, or the Water Breathing Trainer.
Before you start, you need to unlock the following requirements first:
- Reach level 25
- Gather 50 Demon Horns
- 5,000 Wen
A great place to farm Demon Horns is just behind the waterfall next to Bamboo Grove. You can start farming Demon Horns even if you are low level too. Since obtaining Demon Horns depends on RNG, I would suggest starting as early as possible.
You will also find your HP deteriorating once you reach the area because of the cold. I recommend carrying a torch to help keep warm, but having a handful of health potions also helps if you don’t have a torch.
Reaching Iceveil Settlement

To get to this point, start at the Windy Peaks map and go through the Torii Gate where you would have encountered Krue. Head down the ramp and continue straight ahead, jump down, then go through the Torii Gate that can be found a little bit to the left.
Go through all the gates to reach the Mother Bear enclosure, then continue north towards the Torii Gates here. You might find Old Trapper Ritsu resting beside the gate, and the scenery will turn white, which indicates you are in the right place.
Finding Wind Trainer Saneri

Keep going straight and up the ramp towards the camp, then continue to climb up and go straight ahead. You can rest at the camp and replenish some lost health if you wish. After going ahead, you will spot your first Torii Gate. Go through it and go left towards the second campfire. Then, climb up the hill on the left beside the camp and go straight ahead towards the large building and the Torii Gate.
You will find Iceveil Guard Shiro standing next to the gate, so you know you are going in the right direction. Walk into Iceveil Village and make your way towards the bridge. Jump into the water below and keep going north. Keep swimming until you find a platform, where you will spot Wind Trainer Saneri.
Wind Breathing Quest Requirements
If you have met the previous requirements, you can start Wind Trainer Saneri’s quest to unlock the Wind Breathing technique. Most of the quest objectives are quite similar to the quest given by the Thunder Trainer. You just need to complete a bunch of minigames at Butterfly Mansion, then beat the final Wind Trainee to unlock the skill. Here are the games you need to clear in Butterfly Mansion and what to do in each.
| Game | How to do |
| Pushup | Ensure the smaller pulsating circle interlinks with the larger outer circle. |
| Boulder Split | Drag the white circle towards the green circle. |
| Boulder Push | Push the boulder towards its destination. |
| Aim Training | Click on the dart boards in the archery field as it appears on screen. |
| Meditate | Press the LMB right when the moving arrow falls on the target area. |
Beating the Wind Trainee
Check your map to find a newly unlocked spot right across the bridge, where the Wind Trainee spawns. This is a 600 HP mini boss, but shouldn’t be hard to beat if you have crossed level 25. The Wind Trainee doesn’t have a lot of special moves to look out for, so this fight should be pretty quick. Once done, you will have unlocked the Wind Mastery from the skill tree.
Obtaining Ultimate Skill

I would suggest beating Wind Trainer Saneri first, and then working on unlocking all the Wind Breathing skills. That’s because beating Saneri will unlock the final Ultimate skill. You will find the boss near the Windy Peak shrine, and the nearest spawn point is Windy Peak. Head back to the shrine and travel south to find Saneri near Mistfall Harbor. You can also check the mini map for the spawn point.
The Ultimate skill has a very low chance of unlocking, so you need to do the boss fight repeatedly. But you also get a chance to unlock some of the Wind Breathing gear through the RNG too. Here is a table with the items you can get from the boss, as well as the drop percentage for each.
| Item/ Ability | Drop chance |
| Idaten Typhoon (Ultimate Skill) | 5% |
| Wind Katana | 5% |
| Wind Slayer Uniform | 3% |
| Wind Haori | 3% |
Wind Breathing Techniques
Wind Breathing skills are a bit different from other techniques, as they have dual variants of each skill. Some skills can be used for long and short range, while others can be held down to charge them or be used as is.
| Skill | Keybind | Description |
| Mountain Wind (Single use) | Hold Z | Propels you and your target high into the air after performing an upward slash. Both you and the target will slam back down, dealing damage to the target. |
| Purifying Claws (Single use) | Press X | Summons four slashes on the target, after which you will teleport above the target and slash downwards for the finishing blow. |
| Rising Dust Storm (Long and Close Range) | Hold C + Movement keys (close range) Tap C (long range) | For long range attacks, a cyclone will be sent towards the target. In close range, the cyclone will spin around you to create an AoE, and you can move around with it. |
| Whirlwind Cutter (Single use and Combo use) | Tap V (single use) Hold V (combo use) | Tapping the attack will release a knockback and stun on the target by unleashing two slash hits vertically. Holding the attack will release a combo move, where you will spin horizontally and land on the target to release a heavy blow. |
| Idaten Typhoon (Long and Close range) | Press/ hold B | In long range, releases three slashes midair while you leap forwards, and landing the final blow directly on the target. In close range, you will toss enemies into the air and land slashes along with a ground slam. |
