Palworld has conquered every record there is to conquer and the developers at Pocketpair are quite happy with the progress it is making in the gaming community. The ‘Pokemon with Guns’ title has received its fair share of drama and allegations but despite that, it has managed to break records and shatter download records of all kinds. That being said, its Xbox and PC exclusivity has PlayStation fans feel left out of the action. The question is, will Palworld release on the PS5 or the PS4 anytime soon?
Is Palworld Releasing On PS5 And PS4?
Upon release, Palworld wasn’t available for the PlayStation consoles. However, the Steam FAQ page for the game sheds a little light on the answer to the question.
We don’t have plans for this at the moment, but will consider it during development!
Pocketpair
Although Pocketpair does not have plans for the port to the PlayStation consoles, they have not eliminated the possibility. A while ago, Shuhei Yoshida (Sony veteran) congratulated the team on Palworld’s success on X. A user asked Yoshida if there were plans to bring the game to the PS5 to which he replied with “はい〜” which translates to “Yes” and then proceeded to tag a PlayStation developer.
Despite all of the plagiarism and AI content allegations, the “Pokemon with Guns” has managed to bring a lot of players from different genres together and will continue to do so as the developers have plans to release lots of exciting content. The fans are ecstatic to see how the newest gaming and live service sensation plans to scale its content in the first year of release.
The game looks like it will have a bright future even if there are no immediate release plans for the PlayStation consoles. The game is due to get a PvP mode this year and the fans are quite excited about that. Since the developers are busy making the PvP mode a success, it is safe to say that we won’t be getting a PS port at least for 2024. For more Palworld-related content, click here.
