How Does Resonance Work In Last Epoch?
Resonance is a special item that allows you to expand your gifting abilities in Last Epoch. Using this consumable enables you to gift certain looted items to your friends, even if the item drop occurs when you are not playing with them. In short, you can use Resonance to gift a certain item to your party member when they are absent when the item drops.
Resonance is specifically designed for certain players. When you play Last Epoch, the game will filter out the players you play frequently with. When you obtain a Resonance, it will feature a ‘Resonates with’ section with the name of the player. You can then choose an item you want to gift that specific player and use resonance to enable gifting.
Types of Resonance In Last Epoch
There are two different types of Resonance in Last Epoch: Golden Resonance and Obsidian Resonance. While both are considered to be rare in the game, Obsidian Resonance is a rarer item.
Golden Resonance allows you to gift any Normal, Magic, Rare, Set, Idols, and Unique Items with no legendary potential. Obsidian Resonance, on the other hand, allows you to gift all Exalted and Legendary items.
How To Get Resonance in Last Epoch?
Resonance in Last Epoch can be obtained by slaying enemies. If you slay an enemy that has a chance to grant experience, there’s a high chance that doing so will grant progress required for a Resonance to drop.
Once a required amount of progress in obtained, a slain enemy will drop Resonance. This unseen progress bar is reset once Resonance is dropped. So, the best strategy to gain Resonance is tackling and beating harder enemies.
How To Use Resonance in Last Epoch?
Resonance(s) will immediately usable when you pick them up. If you want to store and use them later, press the ‘Transfer Materials‘ button in your inventory. When you want to use them, simply go to the ‘Gifting Window‘ in your inventory by pressing the Gifting button. Proceed to select the item you want to gift the predetermined player and hit Confirm.
