If you’re an avid fishing enjoyer, you’d want the best gear to make your life easier. Such is the case with the Advanced Fishing Rod (Depresso) in Palworld 1.0, which is a bit hard to get. In my experience, acquiring it completely depends on your sheer luck.
However, certain methods can increase your chances of getting the gear. In case you aren’t able to get the item through one method, it’s best to try the rest. With that said, in this guide I’ll help you find the schematic for the Advanced Fishing Rod (Depresso), alongside other helpful information.
Best Place To Farm for the Advanced Fishing Rod Schematic

Getting the Advanced Fishing Rod (Depresso) is tricky in Palworld, as there are a lot of requirements. The most important one is the schematic, which you can get by sheer luck. I got mine at a Pal Genetic Research Facility at -380,852 coordinates.; and looks to have worked for a few others too. At the location, you’ll find unique chests, which have a higher chance of dropping the schematic. However, you’ll find high-level guards there, so proceed accordingly.
Other ways of acquiring the schematic include Treasure Fishing at the World Tree, Feybreak, and Sky Islands. Since it’s a late-game item, it’s hard to get your hands on it easily. Regardless, if you’ve gotten your hands on the Advanced Fishing Rod (Depresso) Schematic, your hurdle doesn’t end here. Building the item will require the following items:
- Paldium Fragment: 140 (Acquired through Lunaris, Treasure Box, and Wandering Merchant)
- Carbon Fiber: 20 (Dropped from Shadowbeak, or crafted through Advanced Workshop)
- Coralum Ingot: 5 (Produced in Gigantic or Ancient Furnace)
- High Quality Pal Oil: 20 (Extracted from Pals, Treasure Boxes, and Wandering Merchant)
- Pal Metal Ingot: 30 (Produced in Electric, Gigantic, or Ancient Furnace)
Once you’ve collected all the required materials, you have to use Production Assembly Line II (unlocked at Technology Level 42) to craft the item. If you don’t have one yet, you’ll have to grind for it by collecting Technology Points. It took me a lot of time, so I’d advise you to be patient.
