Garukhan’s Resolve in PoE2 is a skill gem, but once you get your hands on it, you can either decide to keep it for your build or put it on the market for 100 or even more Divine Drops. It’s a pretty rare drop, and we will need to make use of special tablets and bonus modifiers to raise the overall drop % chance. Here’s my best recommended route for farming Garukhan’s Resolve in Path of Exile 2.
Farming Setup #1

The most crucial information you should know about farming Garukhan’s Resolve gems is that Lineage gems are seen as Waystones. So stacking Waystone chance modifiers will improve the chance of the Lineage gem drop rate. Here I am going to cover the tablets you will need to select for a map run. These tablets will have many modifiers that increase the item drop rate, which in this case will be our skill gem.
- Waystone Selection: So when you are selecting Waystones, look for the Waystones that offer a Waystone Drop Chance of over 100%. 120% is preferable for the best chance to get the item drop.
- Tablet Selection: When selecting the Tablets, I would recommend you switch to any rare tablets that offer “Map has 2 additional random modifiers“. Why? Because it further raises the Waystone drop rate, which we now know is tied to Lineage drops.
Note: You can pick rare Waystones with one additional random modifier, but I will advise you to go with 2 random additional modifiers to be on the safer side.
- One other unique tablet that you must add is the Visions of Paradise Irradiated Tablet, which adds +1 to the monster level. Basically, adding this tablet will make the game more difficult but at the same time, more rewarding when it comes to drop chance. Once you complete a map with the irradiated buff, this tablet restores the irradiation on the map for a second run. Making it a perfect choice for farming items.
Under Jado’s Spycraft, choose Partial Translation and Untold Histories to get a boost to Lineage Support drop chance.
Finally, choose a map, add 1x Visions of Paradise Irradiated Tablet, 1x any rare tablet (2 additional random modifiers), and another 1x rare tablet (2 additional random modifiers) for the farm setup.
Farming Setup #2

Compared to the first setup, this one will cost a bit more, as we will be adding two unique tablets to the map: Visions of Paradise Irradiated Tablet and Mastered Domain Irradiated Tablet.
The Waystone Drop Chance and “Visions of Paradise Irradiated Tablet” remain the same as in the first step to get an increased chance of item drop rate. The second tablet, “Mastered Domain Irradiated Tablet” (Unique), irradiates the map and also turns the map into a “Forest Map.”
So why Forest Map? Head over to the Atlas skill tree and get the skill node “Forest Mastery: Lineage Gems“; one of the bonuses on this Atlas skill is a whopping 50% increase in the chance to find Lineage Supports. To make the Lineage Support even more effective, open up Jado’s Spycraft and choose:
- Partial Translation: Adds a random gain between 0 and a 40% increase in the effect of explicit modifiers on Tablets.
- Untold Histories: Pinnacle bosses have a 50% chance to drop Lineage Supports.
Just use the search on the Atlas skill tree section, and type in the skill’s name to directly access them instead of finding it manually.
Best place to farm Garukhan’s Resolve
Add the tablets and run the Waystone, then defeat Zahmir, the Blade Sovereign, in the Sacred Reservoir map. If you haven’t unlocked it, then use Jado’s Spycraft and the Unforseen Threats to reveal the area. Besides Garukhan’s Resolve drop, you might get Zarokh’s Refrain/ Khatal’s Rejuvenation/ Varashta’s Blessing.
Tip: There is a shortcut to all of it; you can use The Grand Project Irradiated Tablet. This unique tablet will allow you to reveal the hidden areas on Atlas and gain access to it without taking the normal route.
Garukhan’s Resolve Details
Before we delve into the farming portion, let’s take a brief look at Garukhan’s Resolve and what makes this skill gem special compared to others, and why it is so expensive in the trade market.
| Type | Support Gem (Lineage) |
| Drop Chance | Rare/ Very Low |
| Category | Hit and Run |
| Level Requirement | Level 65 |
| Support Requirement | +5 Dex |
| Perks: | Critical attacks have a chance to Bifurcate, which means you can land a single critical hit and a chance to land two critical hits. [Max critical chance with the support skills is limited to 50%] In short, you are getting a 50% chance to deal double crit damage |
| Perfect Gem for | Critical Damage focused build/ Poison Build/ or Any Hit-based Attack Build |
| Price of Gem in Market | If you manage to get this skill gem drop, you can earn up to 150 to 200 Divine Orbs per a single Garukhan’s Resolve skill gem. [It used to be over 300 – 400 Divines, but now you can easily put it in the market for 100 to 200 Divines.] |
| Compatibility Issues | You can’t use Garukhan’s Resolve gem with skill gems with cooldown/ trigger-types/ and minion gems. |
Note: If you do like the perk bonus of this skill gem and are looking for a weapon that shares the same Bifurcate perk, then you will find it on Tangletongue – Forked Spear. The spear also has the Bifurcate perk for critical hits. You will also find the perk on the Twin Flail weapon too.
