Dogs can be a man’s best friend, but sometimes they do like to chew on things that are not bones. In REPLACED, in classic dog fashion, Excalibur spreads Tempest’s six comic books all over the hub area. I genuinely believed the dog might lead to the clues, but no, it will sit there while we go out and do the dirty work. That’s right, it’s time to clean up the dog’s mess and find all six comic books to get a sweet reward at the end.
All Six Comic Books Locations in REPLACED
The side quest for the comic books unlocks in Chapter 7. You need to interact with the note on the table next to Excalibur at Tempest’s place to start the quest.
Note: If you leave the chapter without picking up all the comic books, the side quest will get discarded. I highly recommend grabbing all of them to unlock a special perk bonus and an achievement.
#1. The Tempest-Man Flies! | Yo-Yo’s Workshop
Get out of Tempest’s place and make your way inside Yo-Yo’s Workshop, and you will find the comic lying on the top shelf, left of the room. This is the same place to find one of the three cats in REPLACED.
#2. The Red Nuke | Platform
Get to the main street in the hub area, and now move to the left. Once you take the flight of stairs to the platform, you will find the comic book on the railing.
#3. Love and Masks | Hospital
Get to the Hospital, pass the first room, and you will find the comic on the top of the stand, near the entrance to the second room.
#4. From The Ashes | Bar
Head to the Bar in the Safe Zone, and you will find it on the table, next to the bartender’s counter.
#5. High Stakes | Safe Zone
Get inside the Safe Zone, take the stairs down, and now move towards the right. You will find the comic in the small area decorated by red lights. It’s the place next to Sandra’s quest in Chapter 7.
#6. The Ultimate Sacrifice | Arcade
Get to the Safe Zone, and now move to the left to get to Arcade. Once you are inside the Arcade, go all the way to the right until you reach the dead end. Here you will find the sixth comic in the middle of the room.
Once you have all six comic books in your possession, head to Excalibur and interact with the note, the same place where we picked up the note to start the quest. Interact with the same place again, to put all the comic books and get our reward.
