Best Shamane Build In Reverse 1999
The best build for Shamane in Reverse 1999 involves him leveling up his skills with ATK and Debuff statuses, the correct set of Psychubes, maxed-out Inheritance, and the perfect team composition.
All these factors combined contribute to Shamane’s best build in the game. Here is each factor explained in detail:
Shamane’s Skills
Shamane’s skills can either act as a direct Reality DMG attack or as a mass debuff.
Skill Name | Description |
Edict of Atman | Edict of Atman is Shamane’s ultimate skill that can deal up to 250% reality DMG to enemies. With a 20% crit rate, this ultimate can also deal an extra 250% DMG to the first target. |
Apprentice’s Dance | A three star Apprentice’s Dance skill card can deal up to 450% reality DMG to one target and grant 1 stack of Nature’s Blessing. |
Spirit Medium | This mass debuff can be combined to three stars to increase DMG taken by enemies to +30% and decrease mental DEF by -15% for two rounds. |
Shamane Psychubes
Shamane has a total of four Psychubes suited for his playstyle in Reverse 1999. They are:
- The Carat of the Heart – This is a new Psychube specially tailored for Shamane. Since it is a 6-star psychube, it is known to increase the power of the next Ultimate by 16% at level 5 if Shamane has at least +3 Moxie on that round. If he has more than 3, the power increases to +24%.
- Brave New World – This psychube increases Shamane’s Incantation Might by 40% after the Ultimate is cast.
- His Bounded Duty – Another 6-star psychube to add to Shamane’s upgrade, His Bounded Duty increases his HP every time a targeted enemy is defeated in level 5.
- Her Second Life – After Shamane casts his ultimate, this psychube works as a mass heal and increases HP for allies according to Shamane’s (ATK x 64%).
The Carat of the Heart is a very good passive psychube for Shamane, and Her Second Life is a good choice for mass healing if you lack a healer in your team.

Shamane’s Inheritance
Other than Shamane’s powerful skills, he also has a Inheritance skill known as Inheritance of Wisdom. At Insight III, this skill gives 1 stack of Nature’s Blessing at the start of every two rounds in battle.
Nature’s Blessing gives the same number of Moxie to Shamane as the stack of Nature’s Blessing, after he has cast his Ultimate in a fight. To get Insight III you need:
- 20000x Sharpodonty
- 16x Tome of Beastly Thirst
- 6x Silver Bullet
- 3x Mistilteinn
You will be able to find these resources while participating in events like Shamane’s Left Arm.
Shamane’s Team Composition In Reverse 1999
If you want to keep Shamane as the Sub DPS/Support, you will need an excellent Main DPS and a strong healer for your team. Here are some examples:
- Healer – Medicine Pocket, Dikke, Tooth Fairy
- Main DPS – Lilya, A Knight, Centurion, Melania
These are only suggestions for teammates that work well with Shamane in a fighting team. You can always mix and match to make a team of your choice regardless of these suggestions.
