Oliver Fog’s Backstory

Oliver Fog belonged to the Fog family residing in London in the mid-20th century. The Fog family inherited the ability to absorb the gloomy and wet fog to control the weather in London and were called the Fogwalkers by the people.
Oliver’s father Sir Fog was a well-known Fogwalker who helped many people get rid of the fog in their areas. But with the rise of the Industrial Revolution and chimneys adorning every factory, the fog absorbed by Oliver’s father became more and more toxic and caused him to fall sick and eventually die.
Oliver soon took over his father’s role and became the last Fogwalker of the Fog family.
Oliver Fog’s Skills In Reverse 1999

Oliver Fog’s skills include:
Skill Name | Description |
Meaningless As Expected | This is Oliver’s ultimate skill that attacks one target with 450% Reality damage and adds Penetration Rate of +30%. |
Working Hours | This skill can be upgraded up to 3 stars where it attacks one target and deals 400% reality damage with a 30% Leech Rate. |
Ten Minutes Later | This mass buff skill gives Oliver’s entire team 1 stack of Sturdiness and increases their Reality and Mental defense by 20% for two rounds. |
Sturdiness is an effect where damage taken reduction is increased by +25% when Oliver is attacked during battle. This effect helps sustain the team while Oliver can use his Working Hours skill for a self-sustaining passive for difficult battles. His ultimate is also not that often used, so he won’t be using up all the Action Points in fights and leave it up to the Main DPS to destroy those mobs.
Oliver Fog Psychubes
There are a total of three psychubes recommended for Oliver Fog’s Reality damage and buff oriented attacks in Reverse 1999. They are:
- His Bounded Duty – This psychube increases Oliver’s HP for each enemy target defeated successfully. His Bounded Duty can be leveled up to 5.
- A Free Heart – A Free Heart reduces the damage taken by the carrier by -20% if the carrier is attacked and below 50% HP.
- Decode – Decode is a 5-star Psychube that reduces the damage taken by -20% once the carrier is hit with the enemy’s Ultimate in battle.
Other than these recommended psychubes, you can also refer to our Psychube tier list and find other ones that might suit Oliver’s playstyle in the game.
Once you are done setting up his Psychubes, it’s time for you to take a look at Oliver Fog’s Inheritance and figure out his passive abilities.
Oliver Fog’s Inheritance
Home of the Fog is Oliver Fog’s Inheritance skill which reaches up to Insight II after upgrades. This skill increases his Reality and Mental DEF by 10% when the battle starts.
To reach Insight II, you need the following materials:
- 25000x Sharpondonty
- 8x Tome of Starlit Ascent
- 4x Milled Magnesia
- 2x Prophetic Bird
For team composition, make sure you have a Main DPS like Centurion, a Healer like Medicine Pocket, and keep Oliver Fog as support. Since some battles require 4 team members, you can also add Sonetto or Bkornblume as a Sub-DPS for your team.
