There are a few choice weapons to collect while on your search for them in Echoes of Aincrad. If you are still struggling to get by in early to mid-game, then you should be on the lookout for the Destruction Blade. In my playthrough, I found this unique two-handed weapon especially great for dealing with high-level enemies.
Plus, you don’t need to complete any particular quest or defeat any boss to get the blueprint. If all of this interests you enough to get your hands on this weapon, then read through the details I have put up on how to get the Destruction Blade blueprint, its crafting requirements, and stats.
How to Find the Monster Bone Trinket in Echoes of Ancraid
Similar to the Earthly Jacket, you need to pick up a peculiar trinket to start a side quest. First, go through the main story quests until you complete the Dawning Fear quest. This will kickstart the Onward to Tolbana quest, where you are tasked with traveling to Tolbana. I recommend starting this quest once you reach level 15 and beyond, since the road to the new city is filled with enemies.

Along the way, you will find several collectible items, blueprints, and trinkets. The trinket that you need to look out for is in the far west section of the region, in the Northern Plains Safe Area. If you have picked up the Mithril Dagger Blueprint to the east, then you are just inches away from the trinket.
Head over to the castle in the west, and you will spot a marked location right beside the large entrance. If you are having a hard time finding it, I found it by walking through the grass along the wall until I spotted a white marker above a pile of monster bones.
How to Find the Destruction Blade Blueprint

Picking up the bones will give you a notification to find an NPC at Horunka. Visit the city and walk around until you find a Farmer who wants to speak to you for the Heifer Strikes Back side quest. He will notice the bones you are carrying right away and will tell you that the mate of the monster whose bones you picked up is rampaging around the Plains of Horn and Fang. Interact with your Main Terminal to find this new quest and confirm to track it.

This will take you to the northern section of the map. But you don’t need to go all the way there or fight any boss. Rather, if you travel south along the same road, you will find a treasure chest off the path. The chest is down in a ditch, and you might find a wolf enemy spawning nearby. You can ignore it and jump down to collect the Destruction Blade blueprint from inside the chest.
How to Craft the Destruction Blade
Like most craftable items in the game, you need to explore the map and find the blacksmith. You will always find a blacksmith in all major towns. Then, you need to hand over the following materials to craft the Destruction Blade.
- Col x 1500
- Selenite Ingot x 1
- Sharp Fang x 3
- Red Core x 2
There aren’t any fixed spawn points for the above materials, as you will randomly find them inside treasure chests, completing quests, or defeating random enemies.
Destruction Blade Stats
| Type | Two Handed Sword |

| STR | D |
| AGI | D |
| DEX | B |
| INT | D |
| Unique MOD | Swordcraft Accumulation: While using a Sword Skill, you will get increased damage from Sword Skill and increased SP consumption. Max 5 stacks and is temporary. |
This weapon is probably one of the best melee weapons in the game, even better than the Valkyrie’s Sabre. Even at base damage, it is strong enough to take down level 20 enemies and higher. Personally, this was my preferred weapon for mid-game and somewhere towards the end too. And with its unique mod, your damage output will be scaled when using the sword skill and can be stacked 5 times.
