The Blood of Dawnwalker is not short on interesting quests, but you will always run into something that is disturbing, to say the least. While the story does go through many terrifying scenes and difficult decisions while exploring the world, you will run into many intriguing places; one of them is haunted sites.
These sites are the exact opposite of a flowery meadow; they are ominous and have many dead corpses and skeletons in a scary environment. Luckily, Coen is equipped with the power of exorcism to cleanse the site, which always leads to earning a fancy reward that is worth the time investment. Here I will pinpoint all Haunted Sites found in the Blood of Dawnwalker.
All Haunted Sites in the Blood of Dawnwalker
Here we will come across four Haunted Sites, each with their own unique storytelling and reward at the end. I will detail the location and the reward details for each one to help you choose the place you want to hit first.
Haunted Site #1
Get to the spot marked on the map, and you will find many bodies hanging on a stake. Interact with all the stakes in the area, then perform Astral Communion on the dead body in the center. You can use Focus mode to highlight the corpse. Once you exorcise the body, you will get the reward.
Rewards:
- Unholy Vitality manual (Regenerate HP after using active abilities)
- Rebel’s Exquisite Falchion (399 DPS with 44% Perfect Block Window, 13.2% Critical Hit damage)
- Minor Aetheric Attunement
- Silver Cross
Haunted Site #2
Get to the spot marked on the map, and you will find a run-down camp with many dead bodies surrounding it. Inspect them to get more details out of the scene, then perform Astral Communion on the body next to the tent to perform exorcism.
Rewards:
- Soul Reaping Manual (Lifesteal targets over time)
- Highland Noble Surcoat (325 Armor, 9.0% Activation Charge Restoration, 9.9% Weapon damage and damage against animals.)
- Potent Fortitude Paste (+15% Weapon and Bare-Handed damage increase)
- Silver Chalice
Haunted Site #3
Get to the spot marked on the map, and you will find yourself in the forest. The sight is as deadly as the last one, with a cart flipped over and dead bodies everywhere. Interact with the body next to the tree and perform Astral Communion.
Rewards:
- Soul Reaping Manual (Lifesteal targets over time)
- The Bulwark Ring ( 26.4 % stamina gain from perfect block and 5.3% physical damage reduction)
- Tainted Marrow x2 (200% Vampiric Health Segment restoration)
- Silver Earrings
Haunted Site #4
The last haunted site, located south of the map, with piles of dead bodies grouped all over the site. Interact with all of them to know more about the site, and then perform Astral Communion on a corpse in the middle to exorcise the scene.
Rewards:

- Ring of Quick Strikes (16.5% Weapon Critical Hit Damage, 11% Weapon Critical Chance, 17.6% Weapon Damage, 6.6% Physical Damage Reduction)
