While tutorials in game can be helpful for learning almost anything about a game, if you are aware of most of the mechanics and know all the basic game systems, then you would want to get into the meat of the game as quickly as you can.
Luckily, WARDOGS has a way to skip the tutorial, but the mechanics are somewhat hidden from the player. Here, I’ll explain the best way to skip the tutorial in WARDOGS and jump straight into the main game without issues or breaking anything.
The Easy Way to Skip the Tutorial in WARDOGS
Start the tutorial and then pause the game; wait for 15 seconds to see the option “Leave Match”. That’s it; now you are out of the tutorial zone.
The game considers the Tutorial to be the starting section; when you hit Start, the first world will be the Tutorial. You are forced to start the Tutorial, and there is no way to pass it. However, the thing is, once you are in the tutorial, the game treats the entire tutorial section as a match. Just by pausing the game, you will see the option for Leave Match in grey. When you click on it, nothing will happen. Here, you just need to wait exactly 15 seconds to get out of the match, exiting the tutorial.
On the other hand, you can go through the entire tutorial, which will take around 15 minutes to complete.
Exiting the tutorial will put you back on the main menu, but now, instead of Tutorial at Start, you will get the option to Deploy right away. When you click on Deploy, you will get the option for the server menu right on the screen; select the server with players and a good enough ping, then you can jump in and start playing the actual game.
