Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown, a critically acclaimed combat flight sim title is making its way to Nintendo Switch on July 11, 2024. The developer has announced that it will be releasing a Deluxe Edition for Nintendo Switch that includes the base game, as well as several DLCs released till date.
The developer Bandai Namco has announced that this title, originally released in 2019 for PC, Xbox One, and PS4, is getting a Switch port soon. Ace Combat 7 is one of the most popular combat-based flight sims, selling over 5 million copies worldwide. Despite the extreme popularity of this flight sim series, the seventh installment in the series, Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown is the first title that will be playable on Nintendo Switch.
The Deluxe Edition of Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown for Nintendo Switch will consist of the following:
- The base Ace Combat 7 game
- Three aircraft sets: ADF-11F Raven Set, ADF-01 FALKEN Set, ADFX-01 Morgan Set
- Three new missions: Unexpected Visitor, Anchorhead Raid, Ten Million Relief Plan
- Music Player mode
- 2-8 Player Multiplayer Mode
- Playable F-104C Avril aircraft
- Playable F-4E Phantom II aircraft
- Three aircraft skins from past games in the series
- Eight emblems from past games in the series
Currently, the PC, PS4, Xbox Series S|X, and Xbox One versions of Ace Combat 7 feature many more DLCs and season pass content from previous titles in the series. The developer has announced that rest of the currently available DLCs will be released for Switch after it releases on July 11, 2024. The players will have to shell out additional money to acquire these post-launch DLCs.
