Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 was announced during the Xbox Showcase. The game will be arriving in 2024 as a day-one offering for Xbox Game Pass. The beautifully animated title features tons of new activities that players can undertake in this industry-leading flight sim.
Apart from the reveal of Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, Xbox also announced its collaboration with Dune. Microsoft Flight Simulator will be releasing a Dune expansion on November 3, 2023, coinciding with the release of Dune: Part Two.
In this expansion, players will be able to take on the role of a fighter pilot commanding the signature ornithopter on planet Arrakis, also known as the Dune. This expansion will be available for the current version of the Microsoft Flight Simulator.
In the announcement trailer, a glimpse of a malfunctioning spice extractor could be seen, indicating that players might be able to undertake rescue or repair missions, just as one of the iconic scenes from the first installment in the movie franchise depicts. Hopefully, we will also get to see the sandworms.
