Payday 3 had its new artwork leaked, courtesy of EpicData, a dedicated data tracker website for Epic Games Store. The artwork features the old Payday gang stepping out of retirement, donning their wacky masks and fancy suits, and surrounded by duffle bags filled with cash.
Apart from the image, a description on the leak reads,
“PAYDAY 3 is the explosive sequel to one of the most popular co-op shooters of the past decade. Step out of retirement back into the life of crime in the shoes of the Payday Gang, the envy of their peers, and the nightmare of law enforcement wherever they go.”
The third overall installment in the series, Payday 3 is expected to be a direct sequel to Payday 2. This co-op heist shooter game series has achieved mass success with its first two entries. Payday 3 was first announced by the developer Starbreeze in 2021. At the time, the developer had stated that the third game will take place in a lively and enormous representation of New York.
Payday 3 release date is rumored to be September 21
We have no official announcements regarding the release date for Payday 3 just yet. However, an Xbox and PC gaming enthusiast going by the name of ALumia_Italia on Twitter recently posted that the game will be released on September 21, 2023. The user has not provided any source for this information, so it’s better to take this rumor with a pinch of salt.
