Since Kinrangr Guardian Folard is an optional boss, it can be tricky to find. Here are the steps you need to follow to find him:
- First, make sure you have defeated The Congregator of Flesh in the Forsaken Fen area.
- Once you do that, you will have the NPC Andreas of Ebb at your hub in Skyrest Bridge. Talk to him and get the Fief Key.
- Now, from the Vestige of Marco the Axe, there is a giant door with a bell in the center of it that can be opened with the Fief Key. This will lead to the Fief of the Chill Curse area.
- From here, head straight into the cave and follow its path. Eventually after getting through an Umbral Entity, you will reach an area that is wide and open, this is the arena for the Kinrangr Guardian Folard boss.
How To Defeat Kinrangr Guardian Folard In Lords Of The Fallen
Kinrangr can be an easy boss to take on as he does not have too many moves to remember. All of his moves come from the axe he carries and you can easily spot which attack he is initiating once you learn his pattern. He is also slow in his attack animations which only makes it easier.
Kinrangr Guardian Folard’s Moveset

- Kinrangr is a boss that will make use of other enemies to fight you, you will be attacked by wolves constantly so it’s best to deal with them first. However, the wolves and Kinrangr as well will be empowered by an Umbral Entity.
- Your best tactic right off the bat is to get rid of this Umbral Entity. To do this, run around the edge of the arena and try to find the Umbral Enitiy using your lamp and get rid of it. You absolutely need to do this first to defeat him.
- Once the Umbral Entity is gone, you can then focus on taking the wolves out first before focusing on Kinrangr. Be careful of the ice crystals Kinrangr will use to stop you when you are doing this.
- When it comes to Kinrangr’s attacks, they are fairly easy to handle. Dodging left and right instead of backward is the way to go for his attacks. His pattern is consistent so it won’t take a long time to learn it and get around it. Just don’t attack too much in one go or he will punish you for it.
- If you happen to die and get put in Umbra, be aware of an Umbral enemy that will chase after you, just like the wolves outside of Umbra. Deal with this first before focusing back on Kinrangr.
- Many attacks can look like they a melee attacks but they can have ranged effects with ice crystals emerging out of the point of impact. Make sure you keep this in mind when fighting him.

There aren’t many rewards for defeating Kinrangr, but there are some random drops you can get that might help you. Here are all the rewards you can get for defeating Kinrangr Guardian Folard:
