Wuthering Waves allows you to craft your own 3 or 4-star weapons in the game with the help of resources found scattered throughout the Huanglong map. Out of these resources, the Scarletthorn ore is one of the most important ones to farm if you want a better weapon.

Scarletthorn Ore Locations In Wuthering Waves
Scarletthorn can be found as ores in the following locations of the Wuthering Waves:
- Desorock Highland – East and West of Rearguard Base, Withering Frontline, Camp Overwatch
- Central Plains of Qichi Village – South and Southeast of Tiderise, Qichi Village, Northeast of Central Plains, Stone Pile Plain, West Loong’s Gaze Suburbs
- Port City of Guixu –East and West of Settle Range Resonance Beacon, in between Donglu Station to Nostalgia Isle
- Dim Forest –Underground caves of Thorny Passage, West and South of Giant Banyan
- Whining Aix’s Mire – North Lollo Gunchan, West Fallen Grave, Northeast of Waving Battlefield, in between Court of Savantae Ruins and Frosting Harbour
Note: Similar to its name Scarletthorn ores are red in color so they can be easily spotted among the green foliage in the game.

How To Use Scarletthorn In Wuthering Waves?
Scarletthorn ores are mainly used for weapon crafting in Wuthering Waves. To start making weapons in the game, you need to access Uncle Wei’s Crafting Table located right behind him in Jinzhou, and select the specific weapon you’re looking to make.
Once you have selected the weapon and gathered all the materials for it you go right ahead and craft it on the table. Keep in mind that you can only craft 3-star and 4-star weapons with Scarletthorn and you will need a lot of Shell Credits for this making process.
