Fortnite has launched a new Creative island inspired by the famous music festival Coachella. Dubbed the Coachella Island, it has a range of exciting quests for players to complete. They can play mini-games, secure in-game rewards, and immerse themselves in the world of happy music. The Coachella x Fortnite collaboration is expected to run from April 14 to April 28, 2023.
The first set of quests, which released on April 14, rewarded players with the Coachella Sunset Spray and the Cact-Eye Emoticon, alongside boosted XP. Now, the Week 2 quests have brought the Hi-Fi Cacti Spray and the Look At The Sky Lobby Track as free rewards.
One of the Week 2 challenges requires Fortnite players to launch three fireworks at the Coachella Island. This tutorial will elaborate on how you can go about it.
Steps to launch fireworks on the Coachella Island in Fortnite
1) Head to the “Discover” tab by pressing the Change Mode button in the lobby and choose the “Island code” tab. Type the code “5449-4207-1280” in the blank space and enter the Coachella Island.
2) Go in front of the countdown post in the main lobby. The timer indicates the time left for the next firework show to start.
3) Once the timer ends, you will receive a Firework Flare Gun with six shots.
4) Equip the Firework Flare Gun and aim it at the sky. As you fire your shots, the fireworks will explode in a spectacular display of color and light, illuminating the night sky above Coachella Island.
Since you have six tries in total and the quest only requires three instances of success, you have nothing to worry about.
Players are loving this collaboration and the vibrant firework displays. At the time of the Island’s release, Epic Games had said in a statement:
“We’re thrilled to bring this exciting new feature to Fortnite players. We hope it will provide hours of entertainment and fun for everyone who plays.”
Now is the perfect time to jump into the game and earn some free rewards. What are you waiting for?
