Many of these secrets, when solved, can lead to powerful items, like the Remnant 2 Song of Eafir weapon mod. This mod gives you the powerful ability to slow down time all around you, but it is only obtainable by completing a secret puzzle in the deep forests of the Yaesha realm. This is one of the very deep secrets that are difficult to figure out by yourself. With the Song of Eafir Mod acquired, getting the Sporebloom might be a great next step to diversify your offensive options in the game.
So, in this guide, we will demystify this secret puzzle so that you can get this powerful time-slowing weapon mod for your character in Remnant 2.
How to Get the Song of Eafir Mod in Remnant 2
The Song of Eafir mod can be crafted using the Scroll of Binding which is given to you by NPC Tal’ratha in Yaesha after you play the secret song on the Water Harp in The Forbidden Grove.
Here is a step-by-step guide on how you can achieve this to get the Remnant 2 Song of Eafir mod:
1. Make sure you are on the Ravager storyline in Yaesha, if not then re-roll Yaesha in adventure mode. You will know it is the correct storyline if you start in The Forbidden Grove and not The Red Throne.
2. Now, progress through the level, the fastest way would be to follow the yellow exclamation mark as other areas are optional. At some point, you will reach the Water Harp section, but you will still need to continue progressing further through Yaesha as it will not be operational yet.
3. Do this until you are led back to the Water Harp section, only this time you will be able to start the mechanism that controls the Water Harp using a lever that was previously inaccessible.
4. Now here, you will find a note that shows you the solution to the Water Harp puzzle which shows you which peg should be in what position in order to play the song you can hear in the background. You will need to do this before you attempt the secret song for the Song of Eafir mod.
5. To make it easy for you, here is how you can solve the Water Harp puzzle:
- 1st row: Fifth peg
- 2nd row: No peg
- 3rd row: Fourth peg
- 4th row: No peg
- 5th row: Third peg
- 6th row: Fourth peg
- 7th row: First peg
- 8th row: No peg
6. Now that you have done that, a bridge will rise from the ground that leads to the boss area which means you solved the puzzle. However, you will now hear a different song being played in the background by Tal’ratha. This is the secret song that you need to play on the Water Harp by figuring out which notes are in it. Here is how you can get the secret song to play using this arrangement:
- 1st row: First peg
- 2nd row: Fourth peg
- 3rd row: No peg
- 4th row: Second peg
- 5th row: Fifth peg
- 6th row: No peg
- 7th row: Third peg
- 8th row: No peg
7. Doing so will open up a container nearby with the Bolt Driver weapon in it. Now, talk to Tal’Ratha who will be at the entrance of this Water Harp area and he will commend you for playing the secret song and give you the Scroll of Binding.
8. Go back to Ava McCabe at Ward 13 and you will be able to craft the Song of Eafir mod by giving her the 650 Scraps, 5 Lumenite Crystals, and the Scroll of Binding.
