One Piece Episode 1077: What to Expect & Where to Watch

It is the best time to be a One Piece fan. One Piece episode 1076 dropped on Sunday, finally featuring Luffy’s defeat of Kaido. And fans are now looking forward to One Piece episode 1077.

One Piece manga chapter 1091 featured Luffy throwing hands with another powerful old foe, while the live-action adaptation of Eichiro Oda’s magnum opus opened to roaring reviews and reception in early September.

The battle of the Onigashima Raid between Luffy and Kaido was concluded in One Piece episode 1076. Fans are debating how impressive Luffy’s victory is in retrospect, with Kaido visibly down and out and incapable of getting up again to resume the fight. Manga readers are aware of the huge celebration that will follow the Straw Hats’ success, which has propelled them to the position of one of the most powerful crews on the huge Line.

One Piece Episode 1077 preview

The One Piece episode 1077 teaser featured the defeat of Kaido and its celebrations. A 30-second-long video enumerated in detail the samurai of Wanokuni continuing to lamps, followed by a shot of Nekomamushi who is wrapped up in bandages. The cat-mink has completed his final fight against Perospero and is joining the survivors for a feast and grand banquet. 

The scene cut to the hole in the roof of Onigashima, as the samurai raised their swords to it in victory. This was followed by shots of Inuyarashi the dog-mink, who himself had finished his last fight as well as the other scabbards. Despite his beaten up face, Kinemon the de-facto leader has an expression of relief knowing that his master’s work is done. The scene consequently moved to the Straw Hats in various parts of the building, as well as Hyogoro the Flower.

The final shot of the preview focused on Luffy falling to the ground as Yamato bursts in on her cloud and rescues the Straw Hat. The One Piece episode 1077 preview concluded with an unconscious Luffy in Yamato’s lap, while the latter has a concerned face. 

What to expect from One Piece episode 1077?

One Piece episode 1077 is set to adapt the next chapter in the One Piece manga, aka Chapter 1050. Long-time fans know that the defeat of a major villain follows with a grand celebration and lighter change in tone. This happened with Arlong in Cocoyashi Village/Arlong Park, Crocodile in Alabasta, and so on. Wano is no different, and manga readers have already been privy to a grand spread.

We can conclude the possible things that are set to take place during One Piece episode 1077 by piecing together aspects from the preview and the corresponding chapter. As per Chapter 1050, the Yonko saga effectively concludes as Kaido returns to his human or oni shape while sinking deeper into the ground. He finally falls into a massive magma chamber beneath Wano, just like Big Mom did. As a result, many fractures begin to emerge beneath Wano’s waters.

Yamato catches Luffy just as he returns to normal and drops out. Consequently, she praises both Luffy as well as Momonosuke for their actions. Meanwhile, the Fire Festival in the Flower Capital is winding down. Tenguyama Hitetsu recalls how Toko was building her sky lamp and how she discovered Shimotsuki Yasuie allowed himself to be arrested while knowing he would be executed for his work as a daimyo in the past.   

When she inquires as to why her father had done such a sacrificial deed, Hitetsu responds that he acted so to give Wano a second chance, as the alliance would not have been able to battle on this day otherwise. As she recalls the day he consumed the same SMILE she did in order for them to forcefully smile in tandem, Hitetsu tells her that he wishes she could live happily. Moved by this, he changes her lantern to read “Thank you Daddy” rather than “I wish to see you Daddy,” which Hitetsu considers a huge honour.

As Nekomamushi observes the sky lanterns, he proclaims to everyone on Onigashima that Luffy had defeated Kaidou. Additionally, living up to his role, Momonosuke had saved Onigashima from a crash landing. While the samurai were taken aback to learn that Momonosuke had been a Devil Fruit eater, everybody was overjoyed that the war against the Beasts Pirates was finally over, and they had defeated two of the four Emperors.

As everyone celebrates, Usopp sends the unconscious Kin’emon and Kikunojo to Chopper to be treated, as does Franky with Zoro, and Miyagi and Tristan inform that several more require his treatment, which he requests for their assistance with. We can expect One Piece episode 1077 to include this moment.

Outside Wano, Momonosuke informs Zunesha that he is opting not to open Wano’s gates just yet, and Zunesha agrees. He greets him as he feels what appears to be an earthquake. The Beasts Pirates, on the other hand, refuse to think Kaido has fallen because they constitute the company of an Emperor and still feel they have the numerical edge.

Franky almost keeps fighting, but Brook stops him as Yamato stands up and informs the Beast Pirates that if Onigashima had fallen as Kaido intended, everyone would have died. Additionally, if they genuinely want to keep killing the ones who spared them, she would personally take them down. Finally, Luffy is set to be declared victorious in the battle following a huge upheaval beneath the sea surface. It is likely that One Piece episode 1077 will conclude at this important juncture.

Where to watch One Piece episode 1077?

The One Piece episode 1077 will be released next Sunday, September 24, whereas the manga is going to resume from its long break and release chapter 1092 today. You may view the anime on Crunchyroll, and you can read the latest manga chapter for free on the VIZ media or MangaPlus websites. 

On August 31, Netflix published all eight episodes of the live-action adaptation, which you may also watch. Season 2 of the live-action series has also been confirmed. The Netflix show has been praised for being one of the, if not the, most faithful or emotionally gripping live-action rendition of a mainstream anime series till date.

One Piece Episode 1076 adapted Chapter 1049 of the One Piece manga. During their fight, Kaido praises Luffy for having accomplished so much. However, he spoke of his rigid belief that he will never be able to change the world. The chapter features Kaido’s flashback. He was already a strong force in his home of Vodka Kingdom at the age of ten. However, a few years later, it was found that the kingdom was struggling to get by and make ends meet with regard to the Heavenly Tribute. 

Kaido often resorted to engaging in war to grab plunder in order to pay for their seat in the World Government. To ensure a seat in the Levely (and because they couldn’t manage him any longer), the country’s king offered over the young oni to the World Government. Nonetheless, he evaded capture by the Marines, earning himself a bounty and the rumor that he only gets imprisoned to eat things on the prison ships.

Kaido’s fearsome strength enhanced his reputation on Hachinosu. This resulted in Edward Newgate taking him to Rocks, which shocked the world. The Rocks Pirates eventually fell, and Kaido decided to go alone. Kurozumi Higurashi approached him when he was organising the Beasts Pirates, offering him an idea that resulted in his alliance with Kurozumi Orochi, who resided in Wano. 

Kaido agreed to her requirements, and subsequently declared that he would show the “peace-loving” aristocrats the horrible nature of battle, vowing to bring about a world in which power decides one’s worth. Later, he tells King that he heard Yamato say “Joy Boy,” and that if he is the guy King is looking for, he knows precisely who he is. 

In the moment, Joseph decides to depart as Yamato encourages Momonosuke to produce large Flame Clouds, something he frantically tries to do. Raizo and Jinbe’s water is able to reach the whole of the castle’s interior, swallowing everyone and extinguishing all of the blaze before flowing across the island. 

However, Kaido’s Clouds have vanished, indicating that the island would collapse soon. Kaido questions Luffy what sort of world that he wants to create, just as Momonosuke creates his personal Flame Clouds to help support the island. As his fist breaks through Kaidou’s flame dragon and smacks him on the face, Luffy tells Kaido that he wants to establish a world where his buddies can eat as much as they want. Momonosuke safely lowers Onigashima near the Flower Capital and collapses from weariness, as does Luffy.
