Livestock in Manor Lords is one of the essential pillars for getting various resources. From the first ox you get with your starter settlement to all the sheep and other livestock you will eventually get, they all help your town grow faster. But besides farm animals, if you manage to get and use horses in Manor Lords, they can even help make your import-export way more efficient. If your settlement relies heavily on trading, buying horses is a no-brainer.

How to Buy Horses in Manor Lords
You can buy Horses in Manor Lords via the Trading Post, Hitching Post, and the Small Stable for 30 Regional Wealth coins. You will need a free stable space for each horse, but if you order a Horse despite not having space, they will be there temporarily and later run away if you don’t provide space for them.
To add stable space, you will need to build more Hitting Posts and later upgrade them to Small Stables for extra slots. You can check your current stable space and how it is being used by hovering over the horseshoe icon at the top of the screen.
You can only buy one horse per month. If you do not want to go through the hassle of buying them manually each month until you reach the desired amount, you can build the Livestock Trading Post and set the number of horses you want. Once you do that, Horses will be automatically ordered until that amount is reached.

How to Use Horses in Manor Lords
Horses will be automatically used by your families assigned at the Trading Post. When they depart from the Trading Post, they will use a Horse if available. Horses make it much faster for them to reach the borders and come back. This ultimately makes your flow of Regional Wealth via import and export to be much faster.
Horses are expensive and should be treated more like an investment to regain that wealth and gain even faster. There is no other use for horses in Manor Lords right now except for their being used by your traders. This is why I would recommend that you only buy as many horses as the number of traders you have.
