HoYoverse, the company responsible for the hit game Genshin Impact, has finally revealed a release date for the next game. The studio’s next game, Zenless Zone Zero, is set to release in July 2024. We imagine it will be a lot of its two successful games, Genshin Impact and Honkai: Star Rail.
Zenless Zone Zero is an action RPG set in a modern fantasy world. The developer miHoYo describes it as a game focused on action-oriented gameplay, which may indicate a shift from Genshin Impact’s open-world exploration and character-collecting mechanics.

The official release date for Zenless Zone Zero is July 4, 2024. However, because of time zone variances, players in the United States may gain access on July 3, 2024. The game will be accessible on PlayStation 5, Android, iOS, and PC.
Pre-registration for Zenless Zone Zero is now available, giving players the opportunity to unlock in-game rewards. The announcement follows a period of anticipation. Mihoyo first teased Zenless Zone Zero in December 2023, followed by a closed beta test later that year, during which some journalists shared their impressions. While the combat system and character design received praise, we’ve seen some previews say that some aspects feel “missing.”
