Hollow Knight: Silksong introduces many unique NPCs that players can meet and interact with throughout their journey. These characters often provide valuable items, guidance, and sometimes special quests.
One such NPC is Jubilana, a wandering merchant connected to the side quest called The Wandering Merchant and The Lost Merchant. Tracking her down is an important step if you want access to her shop and the useful goods she sells later in the game.
Hollow Knight: Silksong – How To Find Jubilana
Jubilana is tied to two Wishes: The Wandering Merchant and The Lost Merchant. The first quest is where you meet her for the very first time, and the second is a rescue that sets her up as a merchant.
Quest 1: The Wandering Merchant (First Meeting)
Your first encounter with Jubilana happens during The Wandering Merchant. This is a Wayfarer Quest that can be accepted at the Quest Board in Bellhart. Head to Whiteward and look for a small side room on the left.
When you reach the location, Jubilana can be found inside a small side room. However, she will not come out immediately. First, you need to deal with the enemies nearby.
After clearing the area, Jubilana will step out from hiding and speak to Hornet. You tell her about the settlement and ask her to travel there. This first conversation establishes Jubilana as a future shopkeeper and sets up her later appearance in the hub.
Quest 2: The Lost Merchant (Rescue in Choral Chambers)
The second quest is The Lost Merchant. This Wish is unlocked from the Wishwall in Songclave and clearly states that Jubilana has gone missing and that she was last seen in Choral Chambers. Accept it to place the rescue on your log.
Fast Travel to the Choral Chambers and keep heading right. You will find Jubilana surrounded by flying enemies. Defeat the attackers, then talk to her to finish the rescue. This completes her second quest and sends her back to Songclave safely.
What is in Jubilana’s Merchant Shop?
After moving to Songclave, Jubilana opens her shop and sells a selection of useful items. Her stock includes:
- Ascendant’s Grip (Tool): 350 Rosaries
- Mask Shard (Key Item): 750 Rosaries
- Simple Key (Key Item): 650 Rosaries
- Spool Extender (Tool): 720 Rosaries
- Rosary String (Tradeable Item): 80 Rosaries
While her shop has only a few items, they are valuable. The Mask Shard helps with survivability, and the Simple Key allows access to locked areas. The tools she sells also support exploration.
Once both quests are complete, she relocates to Songclave and opens her merchant shop. Helping her not only progresses her story but also unlocks access to valuable items that make Hornet’s journey easier in Hollow Knight: Silksong.
