The Ghost Car or Midnight Ghost is a modification made for the Novus ST79 car in Neverness to Everness. The default look of Novus ST79 will have the appearance of a normal car, but you can completely change the look by adding the modification. So, how do you get the Midnight Ghost? One thing is for sure, it’s not going to be cheap, you will need plenty of cash to get the modification for the car, and also buy the car too. First, in this guide, we will focus on the ways to unlock Midnight Ghost, and then we will go through the car details to apply the Midnight Ghost in NTE.
How to Unlock Midnight Ghost in NTE

First, head to the Tycoon Level and select Properties. Now buy the Fenglin Villa (Rank 15) for 8,000,000 currency. The property is located in Green Wall Slope at Bridge Crossing. On the property page, look to the right, and you will see the option Replica Ghost Car (Midnight Ghost) under the Anomaly Furniture section. Now, Fenglin Villa is the most expensive property on the menu at a whopping 8 million currency. Prepare for a long grind before buying it.
After buying the Fenglin Villa property, head to Yurutown, next to Caitrop Lake in Illusion Town. At Yurutown, look for the Natsunari Tofu store. Behind the counter, you will find Sota, the Tofu Shop Owner. Talk to him and complete the chain of objectives to finish the quest.

Once you complete the quest, head to Fenglin Vila’s property at Bridge Crossing by teleporting to the location on the map.

Once you are in the Fenglin Villa, head to Anomoly Furniture and choose the Replica Ghost Car, and select Activate. The pop-up screen will show up, letting you know the Midnight Ghost is activated, with its effect, ‘Reduces deployed character’s vehicle durability loss.’
Upgrading Midnight Ghost

There are seven levels of upgrade attached to the Midnight Ghost modification. I recommend finishing them before getting the car.
At level 1, we will have the vehicle durability loss reduced to 3%. But we can further increase the number by getting Fuel Experience cans, an Anomaly Furniture Material. This requires you to defeat Shadows, basically a racing event. You don’t need to get a car to participate in the event; all you have to do is just show up at the right place and, more importantly, at the right time.
Head to Yurutown, the same spot where we talked to Sota from the Natsunari Tofu store. Head north from the store, and you will find the race event spot. Make sure to show up at night, and you will find the Midnight Ghost waiting for you at the parking location. Interact with the Midnight Ghost car at the scene and take part in the race. Winning the race will help you obtain plenty of Fuel cans. Use them to upgrade your Midnight Ghost at your house. Get enough of the fuel cans to upgrade the Midnight Ghost to Level 7, max level.
How to Apply Midnight Ghost and to What Car

Now that we have a fully upgraded Midnight Ghost modification, it’s time to buy the right car and apply it.
- Head to Novus, located near Moomin Street, next to Davidia Avenue in Bridge Crossing. Get inside the showroom and buy the car Novus ST79 for 600,000.
- Once you have made the hefty purchase, head to the Vehicle Modification shop nearby, Rampage Players, located near Moomin Street, a bit south of the Novus car dealership. Head inside and talk to Norson behind the counter. After the dialogue exchange, choose Any Recommendation from the dialogue option.
- Now select Novus ST79 from the panel on the left, and choose the option to “Modification” on the bottom right. Select Midnight Ghost from the right panel and select Activate and Confirm.
There is a small fee attached to the modification, around 900, so it’s not that big of a deal. Once you pay the modification cost, the vehicle ST79 will have the ghost modification, as it will roll out of the garage looking completely like a Ghost Car.
