Accidentally stumbling upon a puzzle is the greatest feeling one can have in an RPG. The mind quickly fills with wonders of what the puzzle might unlock, since everything about the puzzle is accidental. The Stone Rock puzzle is one of the many secrets I accidentally stumbled upon in the Alabaster Dawn. Here is how to find the Stone Rock Puzzle and solve it in Alabaster Dawn.
Stone Rock Crescent Gate Puzzle Location in Alabaster Dawn

Make sure to be in the middle of the Crescent Gate, as shown in the picture. The area unlocks after you build the town in Chapter 1. This requires you to take part in many story-related quests. In the end, you will get a quest titled Journey to the North, indicating you are about to leave the first area.
Once you are in the Crescent Gate, jump over the rocky platforms half-submerged in the water to get to the secret area in the middle.
Stone Rock Puzzle Details and Solution

Here we have four stone pillars close to each other. We must interact with the stone architectures in a specific order to activate the hidden button in the middle. The button will be invisible; solving the puzzle is the only way to unlock it.
Don’t worry, you don’t need any special skills on the skill tree to complete the puzzle. All the details are hidden in plain sight. The solution is the height difference between each stone pillar in the area. The answer is to pick the smallest to the largest in the zone.
- First: Rock at the bottom
- Second: Rock at the top
- Third: Rock on the right
- Fourth: Rock on the left
After you press them in order, a new platform will emerge out of the water to the right of Crescent Gate. Don’t worry, the game will point that out with a cutscene. When you do get to the platform to cross the water, you will be in a new area. The sad thing is, the area is under construction, you will get a notification saying, checking back later.
