Crimson Desert Patch 1.12 update brought many fixes and plenty of new gameplay additions to many of the existing mechanics in the game. While the house decoration items and mechanics seem to be the highlight of the patch, on the combat side, the new patch has also added new headgear or helms and armor sets. If you are craving to get the best item quickly, then in this guide, we will take a look at all the armor and helms released on patch 1.12 and their location details to help you obtain them faster in the game.
The List of All New Armor and Helms in Patch 1.12
Here is a brief look at all the new armor sets and helms added in the new patch for the Crimson Desert, Patch 1.12.
Armor
We are looking at three different armor pieces in the new patch update.
- Greymane Light Armor
- Honorary Greymane Cloth Gloves
- Greymane Signet
Helms
In the helm section, we got 5 different unique helms in the new update.
- Sentinel of Trust Helm
- Feral Sentinel Helm
- Sentinel of Tenacity Helm
- Steelmaw Plate Helm
- Silent Conqueror Plate Helm
All the armor and helm sets introduced in the new patch can be purchased from vendors. There are no quests, puzzles, or boss drops attached to any of the equipment; all of them need to be bought from specific merchant NPCs on the world map. Also note, all the armor and helms can’t be worn by all the characters; we will mention the character name under each set, whether it can be worn by them or not.
Greymane Armor Sets
All three armor pieces (Greymane Light Armor/ Honorary Greymane Cloth Gloves/ and Greymane Signet) are obtained by purchasing them from Carl, base camp provisions keeper, at Howling Hill, southeast of Hernand. Travel to the Abyss Nexus in the location to find the place quickly. Carl will only accept Greymane Contribution Tokens for acceptable currency.
Note: Complete as many Greymane Faction Quests and send your Greymane companions on a Dispatch to earn Greymane Contribution Tokens as rewards.
Greymane Light Armor

Now we moved to the most expensive item added in the patch, the Greymane Signet, which will take you a whopping 65 Greymane Contribution Tokens to get a hand on it. The signet or accessory here can be equipped by all characters: Kilff, Damiane, and Oongka.
All Helms in the Patch 1.12
Here, we are going to cover all 5 Helms found in the new Patch 1.12 Crimson Desert.
Sentinel of Trust Helm/ Feral Sentinel Helm/ Sentinel of Tenacity Helm
All three Sentinel helms are found from the same vendor for a price. Head over to the Abyss Nexus located at the final “S” in Demeniss on the map. Then head east of the Abyss Nexus, and you will get all the new helms from the Helm Shop located in the Stronghelm Forge village. Head inside the village, and talk to Helmett NPC, Stronghelm Forge Helm Shop, and select Buy to purchase the helms.

Note: If Stronghelm Forge is not unlocked in your game, then you need to make progress in the main questline, all the way to Chapter 9. The task requires you to liberate the entire city of Demeniss from its hostile nature. Also note, all three helms mentioned above are only meant for Kliff, and Kliff only.
Steelmaw Plate Helm
This one is found from a Temir, Calphade Equipment shop in Thalwynd village, located north of Hernand on the map.

The last helm can be found south of Varnia, in the village. Talk to Omar at the Varnia Equipment Shop to buy the last helm.
