The World Tree isn’t the only new region added to Palworld 1.0. You will also find some strange floating islands in the southeastern section of the map. Sky Islands, a.k.a Sunreach Islands, is a mysterious location shrouded in fog. The only way to clear it out and get access to the boss is to find a way to clear the fog and the tornado barrier around the boss tower.
How to Reach Sky Islands in Palworld
The first step is to find a way to reach Sky Islands. At the very start, this island is covered in thick fog. The only way to dispel it is to enter the portal southwest of the Bjorn and Bastigor boss tower. Bjorn and Bastigor are located in Feybreak Island, at coordinates -1294, -1669. If the portal isn’t active, then you need to head into the boss tower and defeat Bjorn and Bastigor first.

Then, enter the portal, and it will take you directly to the Enchanted Firmament region. You might need cold-resistant clothing and accessories to help deal with the high altitude, and a flying Pal to navigate the skies. Then, you can activate any nearby fast travel point to revisit this location later on. You can also visit the islands by heading south of the Sealed Realm of Terraria fast travel point.
How to Unlock Auri and Shaolong’s Boss Tower

Just as you step foot on the new floating island, speak to the NPC nearby. They will point out that the boss tower is surrounded by a large tornado, and the only way to gain access to it is to disable all 6 beacons around the islands. The easiest method I found to find all the beacons is to use a flying Pal with high stamina, like Jetdragon, and fly over the island.
The beacons are very visible, so it shouldn’t take up too much of your time to locate them all. Some of them are inside buildings, while others are out in the open. Once you find the beacon, defeat any enemy Pals nearby and deactivate the Defense Module. After deactivating all 6 modules, a cutscene will play out where the boss tower will be visible.
How to Beat Auri and Shaolong

Auri and Shaolong are at level 68, so it shouldn’t be too hard to beat them if you are level 70 and beyond. For melee players, I recommend using the Terraprisma, as you can summon multiple blades to fight alongside. Ranged players can go for any missile launcher or, my personal favorite, the rocket launcher.
Since Shaolong is a Water and Dragon type Pal, you can go for an Electric type Pal or Ice type Pal. I went ahead with Frostalion for its flight and ice attacks during the fight, but any Pal that is leveled beyond 70 will take down the bosses easily. Once you are in the arena, a few hits from your weapons and your Pals will bring them down, since this is a pretty easy fight.
Once you are done with the fight, you can speak to Auri outside the arena, and she will give you a special quest to unlock the World Tree.
