Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced allows you to freely explore the world, though there are some limitations. You’re either locked away because of level requirements, or places are blocked off until you reach a certain point in the story (just like with Dark Animus Corsair Pistol Swords). Such is the case with Isla Providencia.
Though if you’re aiming to reach 100% completion in the game, knowing what to find is important. To help you fulfill that task, I’ve crafted this guide just for you.
Isla Providencia in Black Flag Resynced
Isla Providencia is unlocked after completing the Sequence 8: Marooned mission in Black Flag Resynced. To my knowledge, there is no way to access the location beforehand, so patience is the key here. Regardless, the island itself contains a lot of collectibles which you’ll need if you’re going for 100% completion. The gist is as follows:
- 3x Viewpoints
- 2x Mayan Stelae
- 4x Chests
- 3x Secrets (Manuscript, Treasure Map, & Data File)
- 3x Animal Species (Black Jaguar, Crocodile, and Red Howler Monkey)
If you need to know where to find all of these, the easiest way is to synchronise all three Viewpoints present at the location. This will reveal the locations of each of the collectables and mark them on the map itself. Here are the coordinates for each of them:
- Viewpoint 1: 486,13
- Viewpoint 2: 475,17
- Viewpoint 3: 485,33
How to Solve the Treasure Map on Isla Providencia
The treasure map can be found on Isla Providencia at 483,19 coordinates. On the map, you’ll find a diagram with coordinates 503,230. The problem is, you can’t access the location until you progress the story, because it leads to Long Bay. But if you’re finished with Sequence 10: The Observatory mission, you can find the treasure.
On completion of the mission, visit the coordinates mentioned and look for three huts near the viewpoint at the northmost section of the island. The treasure can be found buried beneath the sand opposite the V-shaped coconut tree between two huts.
