Befrinding the Reaper has many perks, but dating it opens up a whole new world of possibilities. In Moonlight Peaks, there are many dateable characters, including a Love Demon, but out of all the weirdness, the fact that you can date the Grim Reaper himself takes the cake. Dating Death is somewhat less challenging compared to the other human characters. This guide will focus on how to find Death and set a romance path in Moonlight Peaks.
Finding Death in Moonlight Peaks

Before we start thinking about taking out Death for candle-night dinner, we will need to find Death. Finding Death and triggering the cutscene requires the completion of two different questlines. In the first questline, we solve the issue between Fiona and Orlock. The second quest boils down to uncovering a family crest and returning it to its rightful place.
A Bridge Too Far

Completing the A Bridge Too Far quest will unlock the south section of the map, where we will gain access to Moonlight Tower, Ambrosia Graveyard, and Ambrosia Mansion. The quest will trigger when you talk to Fiona Webb at Moonlit Pines to start the quest “A Bridge Too Far”. Here we will find a bridge to the south section of the map being covered with a curse, put by Fiona. Our task is to lift the curse off the bridge to gain access to the new section of the map.
Once you complete the quest, you will gain access to the area with Ambrosia Gravyard, but if you head to the place, you will not find Death. Now we must complete a different quest to spawn Death in the game.
Tension in the Crest Garden

Requirement: Tension in the Crest Garden is tied to the A Bridge Too Far quest.
To start Tension in the Crest Garden, head to the Crest Garden, located northwest of Town Hall, and you will learn about the missing Logal Crest. Then you must talk to Alina, Aras, and Dragan to learn more about the missing crest. After talking to all three NPCs, you will meet up at The Broken Lamp Inn; here, we learn about the Crest being inside the Howling Marshes.
Now you will get to team up with Ludo and Saga and head to the Howling Marshes. Here, after hours of searching, we will learn that Ludo knows the whereabouts of the Crest. Saga will get angry at the news and call for a meeting in the Town Hall.
A Croak and A Crest Quest
The quest name changes, but the goal is about finding Logan’s Crest.
Head to the Town Hall, where we will also learn that Yabbis has swallowed Logan’s Crest; it’s the frog that holds a special shop. Yabbis will not return the crest for free; the frog will ask for a fresh Copper Bar in return. So mine the materials for a Copper Bar (x4 Copper Ore and 1x Charcoal), create a Copper Bar, and hand it to Yabbis to get Logan’s Crest back. Now return the crest to Crest Garden to complete it.
Crafting Copper Ore: You will find the Copper Ore Cave of Echoes located in Misty Shores. If you remember the bridge we fixed in the last quest, A Bridge Too Far, take the bridge to gain access to Misty Shores. After grabbing Copper Ore x4 and Charcoal x1, craft a Copper Bar by using all the materials in the Furnace.
After returning to Logan’s Crest, head to the Ambrosia Graveyard, located in Misty Shores. Head inside the Graveyard, and you will trigger the cutscene with Death.
Romancing Death in Moonlight Peaks

Romancing Death follows the same pattern as every other NPC dateable path in Moonlight Peaks. What makes Death Interesting is the act of gift-giving, while many NPCs are picky when it comes to receiving gifts. Death, on the other hand, will accept almost anything. Here is the list of gifts liked, loved, and hated by Death.
| Name | Loved Gifts | Likeable Gifts | Hated Gifts |
| Death | Old Shoe, Black Azalea, Old Canister, Rusty Bean Can, Basic Hoodie, Bat Crop Top, Beanie, Bear Bucket/Chef’s/Serious/Santa Hat, Beret, Blazer, Raccoon/Pumpkin Beanie, Eggnog | Cappuccino, Mocha, Black Rose Tea, Blood Orange Juice, Pink Azalea, Egg, Bread, Cheese, Beer | Cloth, Charcoal, Fertilizer, Coin |
That’s it, now you can befriend the reaper himself and go out on a date with Death.
