Cotton Candy does not sound like a very useful resource in Palworld 1.0, but surprisingly, it is used in tons of recipes. Many of these are useful healing items, which makes Cotton Candy a very valuable resource. Like most resources, the main source to obtain this item is through a specific Pal. However, rather than killing and looting, there is a much more efficient setup you can use to create a continuous source of this item.
How To Get Cotton Candy and Caramel Cotton Candy in Palworld 1.0
You can get Cotton Candy through Woolipop. This sheep-like creature can be found in many places across the map. However, the best place to find one on the map would be in the area marked above. Alternatively, they can also be found in the Ravine Grotto dungeon.
Killing and looting them will be the quickest method to get Cotton Candy in the short term. However, if you want a more sustainable source, then leaving them alive is much more profitable.
Meanwhile, if you want to get Caramel Cotton Candy, then you can get it from Woolipop Terra. This is a variant of Woolipop that can be found easily at the Suncrest Islet (image shown above).
How To Setup Best Cotton Candy Farm in Palworld 1.0
This setup is dependant on Woolipop’s Partner Skill, Candy Pop. This skill lets Woolipop drop Cotton Candy while it is placed at a Ranch. You can make a Ranch using the following resources:
- 30x Fiber
- 30x Wood
- 20x Stone
Note: To catch Pals easily, without the risk of them dying accidentally, use the Ring of Mercy.
Once done, place the caught Woolipop’s inside, and voila. You will have a slow but continuous supply of Cotton Candy. This farming method can be made even faster using the Pal Essence Condenser. Woolipop and Woolipop Terra are among the best Farming Pals in the entire game, because of the items they drop.
This item can raise the Partner Skill level of the Pal you use it on. At Partner Skill level 5, a Woolipop will be producing anywhere between 1 and 5 Cotton Candy. This is a huge step up from the previous production rate.
The same production method can be employed to get Caramel Cotton Candy as well. You will just have to replace Woolipop with Woolipop Terra in the Ranch.
