Farming plays a key role in Moonlight Peaks, and the game allows you to utilize many ways to make plants grow; some are weirder than others. The job of Firefly Sanctuary is to make use of a different machine, the Firefly Pollinator, to help improve the quality of crops grown in the area. Do note that it improves the quality but doesn’t necessarily help with the growth of the plant.
Here we will take a look at how to use Firefly Sanctuary and Firefly Pollinator in Moonlight Peaks.
What is Firefly Sanctuary in Moonlight Peaks
Firefly Sanctuary generates Firedrops; they can be used as fuel for the Firefly Pollinator (Farm Helper Item Types). A single Firefly Sanctuary generates 23 Firedrops. You can raise the number by planting crops within the area of the sanctuary.
Location Details
Firefly Sanctuary can’t be found or bought; it can only be crafted by obtaining a blueprint. This blueprint is obtained by completing a special mission task in the game.
Once you reach 10% completion status at the Museum, Jada will reward you with a blueprint for Firefly Sanctuary. The museum is located west of the Town Hall. Head inside and donate to reach the 10% mark to get the blueprint. Once you possess the blueprint, head to the Workbench and invest Planks x10, Refined Stone x5, and Rose Quartz x5 to craft a single Firefly Sanctuary.
Note: Planks and Refined Stone can be made at the Refinery; Rose Quartz is obtained from the Crystal Cave in Moonlit Pines with an Iron Pickaxe.
Using Fire Drops with the Firefly Pollinator in Moonlight Peaks
A single Firefly Pollinator will consume x5 Firedrops per day to improve the crop quality in the area. And what will it do with the Firedrop? The pollinator will improve the quality of every nearby crop in the 9×9 grid around the location.
Firefly Pollinator is obtained the same way as Firefly Sanctuary; you will just need to reach 10% completion status at the Museum, and Jada will reward you with the blueprint for Firefly Pollinator. You will need x5 Wood, x5 Iron Bar, and x5 Rose Quartz to craft a single Firefly Pollinator.
You can also use the Firedrops in a variety of crafting recipes:
- Stacked Lawn Chairs: Requires x5 Firedrop
- Lawn Chairs: Requires investing x3 Firedrop
- Fishing Lures: You will need a single Firedrop and x2 Planks
- Camera: Requires a single Firedrop and a single piece of Iron Bar
Note: All the items listed above can only be crafted at the Workbench. If you don’t want to use it for crafting, you can always sell it for 20 coins.
