The Goddess Quest is a quest in Mistfall Hunter that requires specific input to unlock in the game. It is hidden, but the reward “Hallowgrove Woodling Head” makes the journey worth your time. The quest is less focused on combat and more on exploration; all of the objectives are about finding specific items to complete the quest.
Here are complete details on how to complete the Hidden Goddess Velvar’s Quest in Mistfall Hunter.
Activating the Woodling And The Goddess Quest
First, head to Sigrid’s Tavern, Windrest Camp, near the Goddess Velvar’s statue area. Here you will see another statue holding a shield and a spear. It will have blue markings on the shield and on the left horn. Your first goal is to make your way to the top of the statue by awkwardly jumping on the shield and then finally on the blue horn.
- Approach the statue from its left, climb up the branch, and crouch (Marked by the Yellow circle) under the shield to get to the other side. Now let go of the crouch button, and you will be standing in front of the shield.
- Next, get to the edge of the tree branch around the statue (Marked by the orange circle), to the left of the shield, and then make a jump to the top of the stone shield.
- Once you are at the top of the shield, just move to the right, directly facing the statue’s blue horn (Marked by the Blue circle). Now jump on the horn to get to the top.
Now face the Goddess Velvar’s statue while standing on the top of the horn. Soon, a certain ambient music will trigger in the background for a few seconds. You will get a prompt on the screen with the option to bow. On PC, pressing F will make your character bow towards the goddess statue. After bowing, a new objective will be appear, and you will see “Task Accepted: The Perplexed Woodling” on the HUD. This task will appear as Side Task: Woodlings and the Goddess: A Fair Trade.
Quest Objectives
Here is the list of objectives from Woodlings and the Goddess: A Fair Trade that must be completed to obtain the reward at the end. Most of them are about talking to specific characters and heading down to two specific locations to uncover treasure. One of the key items needed is a legendary item, so before beginning with the quest, make sure to have a legendary item of any type with you.
- Talk to Twig from Scavenger Squad
Now drop down from the statue with the blue horn and talk to Twig by the camp, next to the white goat.
- Talk to Soekja the White Crow by the camp docks.
After finishing talking to Twig, your next task is to talk to Soekja the White Crow. You will find the NPC near the docks with the parked boat.
- Obtain a Legendary Item
I recommend the Gilded Ring; it is a mission reward item from Academic Misconduct, Historical Research, Honor the Fallen, and Scenic Survey exploration tasks. Now head back to Soekja the White Crow and talk to the NPC to get the next objective.
Other methods of obtaining Legendary Items:
- Defeating the mini-bosses drops legendary rarity items.
- Unlocking special chests guarded by enemies seals over their heads.
- Legendary item drops are part of some quest lines.
- Getting epic keys from the auction house also helps you get legendary items.
- Talk to Twig from the Scavenger Squad.
Find Twig near the camp, in the same location as the earlier task. Talk to Twig to progress to the next objectives in the questline.
- Find the lost treasure in Hallowgrove and Brandgarde.
Our next task is to interact with two treasure chests and collect the item inside for the quest. The first one is in Hallowgrove and the second one is in Brandgarde.
Hallowgrove Treasure Point Location
In Hallowgrove, head to the Refugee Camp located south of the map, as marked on the image above. Here, get down the ladder to enter an underground area where you will find the first treasure chest.
Brandgarde Treasure Point Location
This one takes us to the west of the Brandgarde map, directly near the Exile Pit. Head down the ladder to the bottom of the pit. At the bottom of the prison, you will find the second treasure chest.
Now head back to the statue location and talk to Twig to complete the quest and get the reward: Hallowgrove Woodling Head. Do note that this item is a cosmetic item, and hence may not help much in your attempts to climb up the rankings in the Path of Glory in Mistfall Hunter.
