Fire Brick is one of the many important crafting items needed in Grounded 2. It is a Tier 3 item and only has a handful of ways of being made. Moreover, from what I have seen, you cannot find this item out in the wild. This makes it one of the more difficult items to make in the game, unless you know exactly what to have and do in advance. Get your Oven ready as I show you how to get and use Fire Bricks in the new Into the Abyss update.
How To Unlock Fire Brick Recipe in Grounded 2

Before you can actually craft a Fire Brick, you must first unlock its recipe. This is done by scanning a new crystal shard added in the Into the Abyss update. The steps to do so are as follows:
- Mine Phantom Quartz
- Process Phantom Quartz Shards in the Quern to get Crushed Quartz.
- Use Crushed Quartz at the Resource Analyzer.
If you follow the above steps, then the Resource Analyzer will unlock the recipe for Fire Bricks.
How To Get Phantom Quartz in Grounded 2

The initial step for unlocking Fire Bricks is to acquire Phantom Quartz. This is easily obtained by going to the above-marked location in the Gnarly Bark region.

Here, go inside the cavern and turn to the right after walking forward for some time. You will see some crystal formations that can be broken to obtain Phantom Quartz Shards. Afterwards, you can process these Shards in the Quern to obtain Crushed Quartz, which will lead you to obtaining Fire Bricks.
How To Make Fire Bricks in Grounded 2

The hard part is done. All that is left is to interact with your Oven and select the Fire Bricks recipe, which goes as follows:
- 4x Clay
- 1x Crushed Quartz
I already showed the process to obtain Crushed Quartz earlier. Clay is not a very hard-to-find resource. I would suggest checking the Picnic Table area. Under the table, there are many deposits of clay that you can obtain.
How To Use Fire Brick in Grounded 2
These are the items that require Fire Brick to be made:
| Item | Station | Recipe |
|---|---|---|
| Diving Boots | Workbench | 4x Chrysalis Leather 2x Fire Brick 4x Toe Biter Shell 3x Wax |
| Ticky Maul | Workbench | 6x Tick Fang 1x Fire Brick 3x Spiky Bur 4x Cattail Fluff |
The Diving Boots are probably the item that most players will be aiming to get first. However, you can pick whatever item to make, since Fire Bricks are likely not going to be a scarce resource if you followed the above steps properly. So, you are eventually going to be able to craft both of them.
