Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy has a plethora of puzzles that you need to solve to make progress, and one of the harder ones can be the Platform Jumping Puzzle in Chapter 5: Desolation It Wrought, which involves finding the correct order of jumping from one platform to another. This was a step up from the Maze Light puzzle found in Chapter 4.
Fortunately, if you follow the correct order shown to you, you should be fine. You just need to pick the right starting point and follow the path I will show you below. This will lead you to the other side without any hiccups.
Resonance A Plague Tale Legacy Chapter 5 Platform Jumping Puzzle Solution Explained
Your notebook will contain the clues required for finishing this puzzle. The same is shown above (from down to up). Essentially, you have to hop across the platforms in the correct order.
This is:
- Dots
- Squid? (or whatever that creature is supposed to be)
- Dots
- Flower
- Squid
So, if you are on a platform and don’t know where to go next, open your notebook and take a look at where to hop next. Fortunately, I have prepared the optimal path you can use to get to the end of this puzzle.
Resonance A Plague Tale Legacy Chapter 5 Platform Jumping Puzzle Correct Order
Go towards the left and hop on the ‘dots’ block shown above. This is in the second column from the left. From here, follow the path indicated in the image above. I will mention the same directions so you can move easily:
- Right
- Up
- Left
- Up
If you have followed the above steps correctly, then you will be on a ‘squid’ block. In front of you, there will be a ‘dots’ block. Jump straight ahead to get on the ‘dots’ block and turn right.
After turning, follow the path straight until you hit the end. This will put you on top of a ‘flower’ block. This position will be shown in the images above and below. From here, turn left and follow the pathing in the image below.
This will be a complicated maneuver, as you have to:
- Go forward two blocks
- Come back once
- Go forward once
- Turn left and advance two blocks
- Turn right and jump to the finish
Interact with the pedestal at the end to get the first symbol and end this puzzle. If you are interested, then you can also find the Scarab Amulet collectible in this area, but that will require some extra parkour and is optional. Remember to also grab the Greek Sword before finishing this chapter.
