Rushing into the battle without any plan or gear is the last thing you want to do in life. In Wardogs, so many players just skip buying gear and run into the battle, only to get shot by players with decent gear on them. Starting out, the gear is not expensive, so make sure to take your time before the round to prepare a perfect setup to withstand the damage from enemies.
Here I will explain how to get a kit and the ways to create a perfect kit, and lastly what happens to the kit after your death.
Getting A Kit in Wardogs

You must buy all the items required to complete a kit from the Equipment Vendor found in the camp. You will have to spend in-game currency to buy the items from the vendor; nothing is free.
Before rushing into the battle, make sure you are well prepared for the fight. It’s not going to be a pleasant ride if you charge into the battle with nothing on. You must buy:
- Weapons: Here you have the option to buy any kind of weapon along with attachments, ammo, and more. When you are buying guns or anything related to them, make sure to take a look at the cost for each item and the money you have in the top-right of the HUD. Besides buying a main weapon, also have a sidearm for just-in-case events, perfect for when you run out of ammo or need a quick-fire moment.
- Armor: After weapons, move your focus towards Armor, they provide general defences and more. Don’t neglect any kind of armor, especially when you have none. There are a variety of armor sets, and getting high-level armor will provide you with more protection.
- Item: Items are the ways you can heal yourself and teammates. While you can use your trusty hand to heal your character, if you are looking for faster revival, then having these healing items certainly can be a great help.
When you are buying these items to create a perfect loadout, make sure to keep an eye on the weight meter; the last thing you want is to play the role of heavy, as you will instantly get shot. Don’t worry about the money; the more you perform in the battle, the more money you will make.
Do note that when you die in the game, you lose the kit, and you must buy it again from the Equipment Vendor. Luckily, the game does offer the option for players to re-buy the old loadout for faster transition into the game without going through the list all over again. If any of your teammates managed to revive you after you are downed, then you will not lose your loadout.
The game does offer a basic loadout option, but only if you have no money. If you already have the best items and lose them all after death, then you must buy all the lost items back from the Vendor. Nearly everything that has to do with loadout requires money; that’s why I highly recommend focusing on earning money and upgrading the Wardog level to keep buying more high-quality items to make your character stronger.
