Katanas are always some of the best weapons to come across in any game; they are extremely powerful dexterity-focused weapons that hit fast and deal an absurd amount of damage. They are the best, and in Project Slayers 2, you will run into over a dozen katanas, each with its own stats and appearance. Out of all of them, Nightfall Katana reigns supreme, delivering the best damage and block stats compared to all the other katanas in the game. That’s why Nightfall Katana is hidden extremely well, in a place that no one would ever dare to look.
In this guide, I will show where to find the Nightfall Katana Schematic, how to use the Nightfall Katana Schematic to craft a fully functional Nightfall Katana, and why this weapon is good in Project Slayers 2.
Getting the Nightfall Katana in Project Slayers 2
You get the Nightfall Katana by first unlocking it’s schematic in Mistfall Harbor, and then crafting it using Mythic Refinement Ores. Head to Mistfall Harbor and go to the yellow circle that I have marked on the map above. Once you are in the spot, you can’t ignore the giant waterfall with two giant Water Wheels attached to the left. Now you know what to do: dive right into the water, following the waterfall trail.
Head underwater, and you will have a square-shaped hole under the waterfall leading to the other side. Swim to the other side and then perform a wall climb on the rock on the right, and you will find the Nightfall Katana frozen in a statue. Press T to ‘Study’ the Katana, which then unlocks the schematic.
Crafting the Nightfall Katana
Head to the Forge NPC Blacksmith Togane in the Hidden Mist Village, and the Nightfall Katana, along with other recipes that you have unlocked, should now appear in the list of weapons that you can craft.
Nightfall Katana is a V2 katana, much different from the average katana in the game. The game has two types of katanas: normal ones and V2 versions. Normal ones can be dropped and bought in the game world, but V2 variants must be crafted.
Tip: On your adventure, save any Mythic Refinement Ores you come across; these ores will help you with V2 crafting. As appealing as selling them might sound, don’t do it! World Events Chests are the best way to get your hands on Mythic Refinement Ores.
Nightfall Katana Stats in Project Slayers 2
Nightfall Katana is the only strong Katana in the game; almost no other Katana comes even close to the Nightfall variant.
The Nightfall Katana offers:
- +5.75% Additional Damage
- 1.14x Damage Factor
- +6.2 Block Points
- 2.06 Block Regen
The highlight feature here is the block stat, which makes the Nightfall Katana an excellent weapon against foes in PvE and PvP arenas. So you can get into the rhythm of combat by blocking while dishing out a solid amount of damage to enemies. This Katana will help you unlock several breathing techniques like the Thunder Breathing, and the Wind Breathing, which requires you to defeat a Trainee at the end.
