In addition to pistols and swords, Edward Kenway can now equip trinkets in Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag Resynced. These are small, shiny ornaments that grant the character much needed quality-of-life additions. They fit in so naturally with the era, to the point that fans are saying they should have been included in the original game from the start.
They also blend in quite well with the outfits available in the game; and provide a good set of benefits to go with your combat mainstays of pistols and swords. In this guide, I have put up a tier list for all the trinkets available in the Caribbean alongwith the benefits and locations for each.
Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced Trinkets Tier List

The stats and the benefits that they provide have been the main criteria in ranking the trinkets. The rarity and the ease of obtaining each of them vary vastly, and so I have not taken them into consideration in the tier list.
| Tier | Trinket |
| S-Tier | Exotic Sea Shells Found Coin Jackdaw Totem Shark Teeth Templar Cross Wooden Eyeball Yax Tun Pendant |
| A-Tier | Black Pearl Guardian Beast Trinket Hidden Ones Sigil Obsidian Monolith Lock of Hair |
| B-Tier | Bloody Spanish Medal Brass Bird Trinket Cross Pendant Gold Earring Narwhal’s Horn Small Goblet |
| C-Tier | Anchor Medallion Diamond Trinket Lodestone Rabbit’s Foot |
S Tier Winner

Arguably the best early-game trinket in Black Flag Resynced is Exotic Sea Shells. It is such an useful item that it becomes a victim of its own success. This item provides you with additional wildlife products whenever you skin an animal. This also extends to harpoon targets, meaning you don’t have to hunt that tanky Great White Shark or Humpback Whale over and over again. But once all your pouches are upgraded to the max, its the Andy tossing away Woody scene from Toy Story – “I don’t wanna play with you anymore”.
A Tier Winner

The best trinket in the A tier, according to me, is the Black Pearl. This one is for the combat enthusiasts: it unlocks one additional takedown after a successful Perfect Parry. Combine this with swords that enable three chain takedowns, and one good counter will land you four flashy kills. This also unlocks the “Let Me Explain” trophy/achievement.
B Tier Winner

Another trinket for all the combatants out there resides in the B Tier. The Narwhal’s Horn allows you to break enemy’s defense bar faster allowing for quicker takedowns, especially on those agile officers that dump a three-hit combo on you.
C Tier Winner

There are no real “winners” in the C Tier (which is why they rank down below in the list), but if we had to pick one, it would be Lodestone. It is not much, but it satisfies the OCD this game gives to loot goblins by automatically looting corpses and tiny crates in an area around you.
