Beast of Reincarnation might not be a completely open world title, but it definitely has a few elements borrowed from the genre. Puzzles, collectibles, upgrades – you name it. With the ability to control plants and an arsenal of different weapons at her disposal, Emma can not only use these to fight enemies, but to explore as well. In this guide, we will go over one such location to explore, called the Maze of Sin.
Maze of Sin Location in Beast of Reincarnation

Maze of Sin is a hidden, subterranean-type zone located in the southernmost portion of the Great Wall Terraces map, in the Mountainous Region. You will reach here at the beginning of Chapter 3: The Vessel. After defeating the final Nushi at the reservoir in Chapter 2, you return to the Cleanse Walker transport vessel. Emma and Koo will then automatically travel to the Mountainous Region to investigate a strange signal, dropping you at the entrance of the Great Wall Terraces.
How to Complete Maze of Sin in Beast of Reincarnation

If you have yet to unlock the campsite fast travel for Maze of Sin, the closest you will get to it is Great Forest campsite. If it is already unlocked, simply fast travel there and you are good to go. In any case, once at the campsite, you will notice a weak structured wall with an explosive vase nearby. Go ahead and shoot it with your arrow or crossbow, causing an explosion that breaks down the wall and opens up a path ahead.

But before you proceed, let the fire from the explosion die down, or if want to ‘gung-ho’ it, make sure to bring a good supply of Recovery Tonics. Upon entering, you will notice a number of shipping containers to your right, with again, the weak wall + explosive cannister combo beside them. Hit it to open up yet another path, but this time with Rat Malefacts waiting to greet you. Take care of them, and then take the stairs nearby to continue ahead.
Note: Make sure to thoroughly explore the shipping containers, as they contain important collectibles like electronic brains and strongboxes.

At the top of the stairs, you will come across a room with a weak wall, but no explosive cannister to break it – or so it seems. Hop over to the adjacent room, where you will see rectangular stone pillar blocking the entrance and the cannister sitting there. But instead of just trying to blow it up immediately, ensure that you are aiming correctly, and not standing too close to the pillars. Doing so will clip Emma’s hand into the pillar, which will “absorb” all your ranged shots.

Proceed from the manually made ‘corridor ‘ until you reach another set of stairs. At the top of these stairs, there is a similar room to the last section, with pillars blocking a clear path. The only difference is it’s not necessary to break this one to complete Maze of Sin, since it only contains a strongbox inside.
Continue taking the only path forward, until you reach another campsite. This is the Maze of Sin: Interior Campsite. Check up on your skills and equipment here, because there is a mini-boss fight coming up ahead. Once you are ready, walk up to the lit area, where you will notice three things are immediately: a couple of giant statues, a robotic ‘corpse’, and a Headless Golem.
The Headless Golem will be aggro’d as soon as you get in its vicinity. Exploit its weakness to Rupture during this fight, and beware of his aggressive style. Once he is defeated, he will drop the Oil Container Manual. You can also loot the corpse he was guarding to get the Transgressions lore document.
