Fortnite OG Live Event: The Big Bang Start Date & Time
The Big Bang live event for Fortnite is scheduled for December 2, 2023, at 2 PM ET. Local timings are as follows:
- 11 AM PT December 2
- 2 PM ET December 2
- 7 PM GMT December 2
- 8 PM CET December 2
- 12:30 AM IST December 3
- 4 AM JST December 3rd
You can participate in this event through your own Epic Games account where you have Fortnite installed. Keep in mind that there might be a big update before this event or later when the new season is launched.
How To Join The Fortnite OG Live Event?
To join the event log in to your Fortnite account and follow these instructions:
- Use Discover to select Battle Royale mode before the event starts.
- Queue up 30 or more minutes before the event launches.
- Once matchmaking starts and you load up the Big Bang event, just sit back and enjoy!
You can also squad up with three other friends and join the matchmaking queue. If you’re struggling to join, don’t worry, and try again. Since it’s such a massive event, server load might be off the charts and a lot of people might be trying to join at the same time.

What To Expect In The Big Bang Event?
As soon as you join the Fortnite OG Big Bang Event you will be greeted by a loading screen featuring Slim Shady himself. Yes, Eminem is the in-game performer for the event who will most likely perform a few of his hits as well as give players a chance to purchase his skin from the store.
There will be a total of three featured Eminem skins in the Fortnite store available on and from November 27, 2023, at 4 PM PT. The skins are as follows:
- Slim Shady
- Marshall Never More
- Rap Boy
Is Streaming Allowed For The Fortnite OG Live Event?
Although live streaming the Fortnite OG Live Event might cause DMCA strike for content creators, but their VODs and YouTube videos can still be monetized if they have a Support-A-Creator account and link their socials for seven days under unlisted.
