Exploring Mistwoods for catching Aniimos can be quite the task, especially as some of them are night-only spawns. The levels here sit around 30 to 37, making it one of the higher-level hunting grounds for the pathfinder. That being said, you don’t have to worry about catching your Aniimos, as most of them are straightforward once you know where to look.

All Mistwoods Aniimo Locations You Need to Know
Compared to Blitzwood, Mistwoods’ area is a little lower in terms of levels, which makes it a little easier for you to explore. Here are all 13 Aniimo locations where you can catch the creatures:
Set 1 – Always Available
Hummin
- Spawns all over the map, both inside the woods and out in the open clearings. A reliable cluster sits around -0965, 1110. One of the most common encounters in Mistwoods.
Hexxin
- Lives in the swamp areas, especially near the marshes. Look around -0861, 1279.
Flutternym
- Found in the clearings just east of Alpha Leafy and near the Nurture Bloom. A solid spot is -1032, 0973.
Skippy
- Swims in the river that runs along the southern edge of Mistwoods, on the border with Nimbus Fields. Check around -1114, 0941.
Pranky
- Shares the same southern river as Skippy. More concentrated toward the western end near the Blitzwood border, around -1116, 0955.
Leafy (Alpha)
- The regional Alpha sits in the western part of Mistwoods in a section of the river surrounded by yellow-leaved trees. Guaranteed spawn at -1114, 1030.
Emberpup
- Appears in packs in the southern clearings (the drier areas that aren’t pure swamp). Look around -1058, 0996.
- someone that you will for sure need if you plan on getting the Scorchhowl and Inferlupa.
Iris (Grassland Form)
- Roves the grass fields along the riverbed and the southern clearings. A good cluster is at -0959, 0961.
Set 2 – Night-Only & Conditional
Sparki (Forest Form)
- Only appears at night and spawns throughout the wooded sections in large numbers. A reliable area is around -1016, 1347. Set the time to night and sweep the denser trees.
Flamerion (Forest Form)
- Does not spawn until you catch 15 Forest Form Sparki in a row at night. Once the requirement is met, a message appears, and Flamerion starts spawning. A common area afterward is around -0914, 1329.
Wisptis (Forest Form)
- Night-only. Found in the northernmost part of Mistwoods in small packs. Look for two clearings around -1023, 1371, one north of the big tree and another west of it near the Beast Fang Ridge border.
Ignitis (Forest Form)
- Forced spawn. Bring a basic Ignitis (from Berylline Vale) to the Forest Wisptis area at night (around -1023, 1371).
- Then defeat six Forest Form Wisptis with it.
- After the sixth falls, the Forest Ignitis appears nearby.
Hexxin (Prismana Form)
- Only appears during an active Prismana Flow. Trigger the Flow at the local Nurture/Bloom point, then search the northwest side of the woods.
