Chasing Inferlupa since the launch week in Aniimo has been quite a hectic task. If you mistake it for a normal catch, just like the other creatures, let me tell you this: you are completely wrong. You cannot catch this one out in the wild. No Alpha, Prismana Flow, or lucky spawn can get you this. The Inferlupa is a special alternate Nova-stage evolution of Flameruff.
Its Fire/Dark Break can pack serious pressure onto enemies. The only way to unlock the creature is to go through a multi-day journey quest in Beast Fang Ridge. This guide will tell you everything that you need to know about unlocking the Inferlupa in Aniimo.
How to Get Inferlupa in Aniimo Through Completing the Warrior Questline
This is the main quest in the Legend of the Thousand-Ridge Fang line. It is a time-gated quest that progresses only after server resets, so be mindful. Here’s how the quest can actually be completed, going through each day:
Day 1 – Nighttime

Head over to Beast Fang Ridge after setting the time to night.

Go to the patch of withered trees which are to the east of Alpha Scorchhowl. You can find a campfire with Emberpups. Twine as one and go to the campfire to hear their story about the creature in the woods.

Follow the marker to the nearby crossroads, and you will find a lone Inferlupa standing there.

Talk to it, and accept its challenge. You have to fight it, defeat it, and then talk to it again.

Go back to the Base Camp and exhaust all the dialogue with Icho.

You will get the first Spirit Dust in the area. That will be the last progress marker for the day.
Day 2 – After the first server reset

Talk to Icho again and exhaust his dialogue. Return to the campfire again at night and speak with the Emberpups.

Collect the second Spirit Dust, which is near the campfire itself.
Day 3 – After the second server reset

Head back to the campsite at night for the final time and then listen to the full story.

Collect the final Spirit Dust nearby

Talk to Inferlupa and accept its full challenge.

Defeat it in the fight that follows.

Watch the cutscene, and the quest will be completed, and the evolution path for Inferlupa will be unlocked.
Things To Collect Before You Start the Quest
Going into this quest blind can be a little tricky. Hence, make sure you have the following things covered, as they helped me significantly during this quest:
- Level 20 Flameruff or higher
- 6x Unbroken Flameruff Spirit
- 1x Night Stone
- Access to Beast Fang Ridge
After the quest has been completed, the Evolve option for Inferlupa will unlock on any eligible Flameruff.
Evolution Requirements Summary For Inferlupa in Aniimo
| Stage | Requirement | Materials Needed |
| Emberpup to Flameruff | Level 12 + clear Sanctum: First Spark | None |
| Flameruff to Inferlupa | Level 20 + complete Journey: Warrior quest | 6x Unbroken Flameruff Spirit + 1x Night Stone |
One thing you must remember is that evolving into Scorchhowl does not help you get Inferlupa. They are parallel branches in the game. If you want to have both, then raise two separate Flameruffs.
Extra Tips to Remember
- Fists I and Fists II are related questlines to this involving Old Recas and Alpha Schorchhowl. They are a part of the same regional legend, but are not required for unlocking Inferlupa.
- You must keep a spare Flameruff ready so you can evolve the moment you finish the questline.
- Inferlupa is a strong Break unit. The kit specializes in stacking Break efficiency and creating windows for your team.
That is the complete process for getting the Inferlupa in Aniimo. The entire quest is worth the three-day wait, as the reward is a must-have.
