Onimusha: Way of the Sword’s enemy list is quite vast and unique, boasting about 23 different Genma types in the game. Someone seemed to have taken an interest in them, as they have left behind several Genma notes to find. Each note pertains to a selected Genma, and you can read them to get a better idea about them. Unfortunately, all the notes can’t be found in a single location, and you need to scavenge all around Kyoto and beyond to find them all.
Locating them is well worth the trouble, as you can read all the notes in the Character tab and also unlock a new achievement. I suggest completing the game until the point of no return, which is just before meeting the final boss. That way, you will have all the areas unlocked and ready for exploration and also collect the final note after the final boss fight.
Note: The Genma Notes given below follows the order depicted under the Genma Notes section of the game’s menu, making it easier to scroll through and find the one you have missed.
